About Our Faculty
Since its establishment in 2001, the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine has strived to prove itself as an outstanding educational institution which later reflected on the growing number of its student body. The Faculty offers a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Surgery and Medicine and a Master’s Degree in Conservative Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Esthetic Dentistry, Orthodontics and Oral Biology. All offered programs are recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities. The Faculty is accredited by the National Authority for Quality Assurance & Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE).
The Faculty’s seven Dental Clinics Complex includes a Radiology Center, a Surgical Microscope Center, a Laser Center and a Digital Dentistry Center. The Complex offers free dental health care to over 10000 outpatients per month.
The Faculty is engaged in research as part of its mission, which in turn contributes directly and indirectly to the primary mission of teaching. The scope of research covers both the fundamental and applied fields of dentistry.
The Continuing Dental Education Unit is considered one of the main venues of the Faculty, offering long term courses in Implantology, Laser Fellowship Program, and short term courses in different fields of dentistry. All courses are ADA- CERP certified.
The Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine has a number of international collaboration agreements with renowned institutions, among which are Aristotle University, Greece, and Aachen University, Germany.
