Vision

Our vision is to be a leading faculty in providing community services to various sectors of the university’s surrounding community.

Mission

The Community Services and Environment Affairs Committee aims at providing high quality, free of charge health services to the surrounding community, increasing awareness of oral and dental health through integrated awareness programs, campaigns, events inside and outside the faculty, as well as linking these programs with education and scientific research.

Objectives

• Spread and increase oral and dental health awareness among the students and staff of the faculty and other MIU faculties.
• Continue providing free of charge dental services through the Faculty’s Dental Clinics Complex to all MIU patients attending the clinics as well as all MIU employees.
• Continuously organize dental services caravans to reach different geographical locations.
• Activate the role of students’ community services committees inside and outside the faculty.
• Link scientific research fields with community service sectors inside and outside the faculty in light of the results of questionnaires obtained from different target groups.
