كلية إدارة الأعمال تستضيف طلاب مدرسة راجاك للغات لمحاكاة سوق الأوراق المالية

في ديسمبر 2023 نظم قسم التمويل في كلية إدارة الأعمال “محاكاة سوق الأوراق المالية – SMS Juniors” لـ40 طالبًا من الصف الثانوي من مدرسة راجاك للغات. وعلى مدار يومين انغمس المشاركون في محاكاة بيئة سوق الأوراق المالية، وتعلموا استراتيجيات الاستثمار والممارسات المالية في العالم الحقيقي.
في اليوم الأول، قدم فريق SMS لمحة شاملة عن مبادئ الاستثمار في سوق الأوراق المالية. وفي اليوم التالي تولى الطلاب أدوار المستثمرين والوسطاء، وتنافسوا ضد بعضهم البعض في منصة تداول افتراضية من شركة WACC.
وأشار استبيان رضا المشاركين إلى بلوغ نسبة الرضا عن المحاكاة 90%.

ممتحنان خارجيان من إيجي بروبرتي يقيمان طلاب إدارة الأعمال في مقرر البيع الاحترافي

دعا قسم التسويق بكلية إدارة الأعمال والتجارة الدولية السيد مراد أحمد الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة إيجى بروبرتي العقارية والأستاذ محمد الكامل رئيس فريق المبيعات بالشركة كممتحنين خارجيين في مقرر البيع الاحترافي الذي تدرسه د. مها فكري في الفترة من 12 إلى 20 ديسمبر 2023.

أفضى الممتحنان بخبراتهما في تقييم أداء 75 طالب في محاكاة إدارة البيع الاحترافي. ساعد تقييمهما الدقيق وملاحظاتهما الثاقبة الطلاب على اكتساب رؤى حول عالم البيع الحقيقي وتميز الطلاب في عرض مهاراتهم في التفاوض والعرض والبيع مما أدى إلى حصولهم على فرص للتدريب في إيجي بروبرتي.

External Examiners from Egy Property Assessing Business Administration Students in Professional Selling Course

The Marketing major in the Faculty of Business Administration and International Trade invited Mr Mourad Ahmed, CEO of EGY Property & Mr Mohamed Elkamel, Sales Team Leader at Egy Property as external examiners in the Professional Selling course, taught by Dr Maha Fikry, from the 12th till the 20th of December 2023.

Both examiners brought a wealth of expertise and perspectives in assessing 75 students’ performance in their role plays in the management of professional selling. Their meticulous evaluation and insightful feedback helped students gain insights into the real selling world. Students excelled in demonstrating their negotiation, presentation, and selling skills. As a result, they were offered training opportunities at Egy Property.

NielsenIQ conducted qualitative and quantitative research simulation for Business Students

In collaboration with NielsenIQ the Marketing major in the Faculty of Business Administration and International Trade conducted a qualitative and quantitative research simulation on December 14th, 2023. NielsenIQ is a renowned global information, data, and market measurement firm.

The event was organized by the Ventures Club, led by Dr. Maha Fikry. The purpose of the research simulation was to enrich the knowledge of marketing research among Business students and provide them with real-life case studies.

Students had the unique opportunity to implement diverse data collection techniques by designing focus groups and questionnaires which would help them gain practical skills and insights into the industry. The collaboration between MIU and NielsenIQunderscores the value of industry-academia partnerships in fostering a culture of learning and innovation.

The Marketing major invited Mr. Amer Abu El-leil, the CEO of Redzee Marketing Agency as a guest speaker

The Faculty of Business Administration invited Mr. Amer Abu El-leil, CEO of Redzee Marketing Agency as a guest speaker in the Professional Selling course taught by Dr. Maha Fikry on the 11th of December 2023.

During the talk, the guest speaker shed light on the difference between the two concepts of business development and sales.

While both concepts have the same goal of driving revenue, business development takes a broader approach by focusing on the strategic growth of the company. The concept of sales, however, concentrates on closing deals and meeting specific targets. Both functions are essential for a company’s success and often work together to achieve overall business objectives.

دعت كلية إدارة الأعمال السيد عامر أبو الليل الرئيس التنفيذي لوكالة ريدزي للتسويق كمتحدث في مقرر البيع الاحترافي الذي تدرسه الدكتورة مها فكري في 11 ديسمبر 2023 لإلقاء الضوء على الفرق بين مفهومي تطوير الأعمال والمبيعات.

تطوير الأعمال والمبيعات لديهما هدف مشترك وهو زيادة الإيرادات لكن تطوير الأعمال يركز على النمو الاستراتيجي للشركة، بينما تركز المبيعات على عمل الصفقات وتحقيق أهداف محددة. المفهومان ضروريان لنجاح الشركة وغالبًا ما يعملان جنبًا إلى جنب لتحقيق أهداف العمل الشاملة

Strategic Marketing workshop for the students of the faculty of Business Administration and International Trade

The Faculty of Business Administration organized a successful event through the marketing club “Ventures” under the supervision of Dr. Maha Fekry in partnership with Redzee from the 1st to the 3rd of December 2023.

Redzee is a digital marketing agency that guided students from the Marketing major to formulate a professional strategic marketing plan for the premium first-harvest organic matcha brand “Dr. Baby”. Students from the Faculty of Business Administration and the Department of Mass Communication went through the process of developing practical insights, employing creative planning, and coming up with a digital marketing strategy. All the steps were related to the courses they studied in their majors.  The brand took into consideration all the strategies students discussed to be implemented in the future. The brand also promised providing internship opportunities for our students.

Prof. Phani Tej Adidam Visit

Prof. Phani Tej Adidam will be visiting the Faculty of Business Administration and International Trade from November 25th, 2023, to December 8th 2023.

Prof. Phani is Chairman and Executive Education Professor at the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship, University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO), USA. Research interests of Prof. Phani include Brand Management, Competitive Intelligence, Consumption Experiences and Decision Making.

During his visit, Prof. Phani will be teaching several topics in Marketing Research, Special Topics in Marketing and Strategic Brand Management.

Dr. Khaled Shedid’s visit

The Marketing Department of MIU’s Faculty of Business Administration and International Trade was honored by the visit of Dr. Khaled Shedid, Chairman of the El Nasr group, on Monday, October 23, 2023.

Dr. Khaled provided our students with the most recent insights on the automotive industry, highlighting the future of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) in Egypt.

Price Waterhouse Coopers

In collaboration with Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC), MIU Faculty of Business Administration and International Trade organized by Dr. Maha Fikry and Dr.Zakaa Khalifa an auditing simulation on the 13th and 14th of October to give students insights into what awaits them in a career in audit. PWC is one of the leading companies in the world for assurance, tax, and auditing services.
