On the sideline of the celebration of the World Oral Health Day, The Community Service and Environmental Affairs Committee, Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine organized a field trip for interns to Badr clinic, Health Insurance organization, Cairo branch, 5^th settlement on Thursday the 22^nd of February 2024. 31 males and females intern as well as a member from the World Dental Federation (FDI) joined the trip.

The purpose of the visit was to raise awareness of the patients of the medical center regarding oral and dental health and how to improve it. A lecture prior to the trip was given by a professor from the oral medicine and diagnosis department to the interns to inform them with information they need to know about the visit. An awareness session was presented by the interns showing the importance of tooth brushing and the proper techniques for oral hygiene.

The interns were supervised by the faculty staff members and the community service and environmental affairs committee members. FDI member distributed 300 toothbrushes and toothpastes on patients, employees, and workers of the medical center.

To discuss a cooperation agreement to provide community service in the medical centers and schools within the geographical area of the university to serve the largest number of citizens.

Questionnaires were distributed to the employees of El Badr medical center to determine their dental health needs and to evaluate the provided program and measure their satisfaction with the visit. Another questionnaire was distributed to the interns and staff members participating to evaluate the visit and its outcome.

The satisfaction rate of the clinic was 89%

The satisfaction rate of the participants was 80%

 على هامش اليوم العالمى لصحة للفم، نظمت لجنة شئون خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة بكلية طب الفم والأسنان جامعة مصر الدولية زيارة ميدانية لاطباء و طبيبات الامتياز الى عيادة بدر الشاملة التابعة لهيئة التأمين الصحى بمدينة بدر يوم الخميس 22 من فبراير 2024. شارك فى القافلة 31 من اطباء و طبيبات الامتياز بالإضافة إلى عضو من الاتحاد العالمي الفدرالى لطب الأسنان (FDI).

 وكان الهدف من الزيارة هو رفع مستوى الوعي لدى المرضى المتواجدين بالمركز الطبى والموظفين فيما يتعلق بصحة الفم والأسنان. وقد تم تقديم جلسة توعية من قبل اطباء و طبيبات الامتياز لتوضح أهمية تنظيف الأسنان والتقنيات الصحيحة لنظافة الفم.

 وقام اطباء و طبيبات الامتياز بعمل توعية لجميع المرضى والعاملين والموظفين بالمركز تحت اشراف اعضاء هيئة التدريس من الكلية و اعضاء من لجنة شئون خدمة المجتمع و تنمية البيئة. كما قام موظف FDI بتوزيع 300 فرشاة ومعجون أسنان على جميع المرضى والعاملين المركز.

 لمناقشة اتفاقية تعاون مشتركة لعمل خدمة مجتمعية فى المراكز والمدارس التابعة للمحيط الجغرافى للجامعة لخدمة اكبر عدد من المواطنين.

 وتم توزيع استبيانات على العاملين بالمركز لتحديد احتياجاتهم من صحة الأسنان وتقييم البرنامج المقدم وقياس مدى رضاهم عن الزيارة.

 و كانت نسبة رضا للعاملين والموظفين بالمركز عن الزيارة 89%

 و نسبة رضا المشاركين فى الزيارة 80%

على هامش الاحتفال باليوم العالمى لصحة للفم، نظمت لجنة شئون خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة بكلية طب الفم والأسنان جامعة مصر الدولية زيارة ميدانية لاطباء و طبيبات الامتياز الى دار السندس للايتام ذوى الهمم بالتجمع الخامس فى 15 من فبراير 2024. شارك فى القافلة 40 من اطباء و طبيبات الامتياز واعضاء هيئة التدريس من قسمى طب الفم ، وعلاج الجذور. بالإضافة إلى اعضاء من الاتحاد العالمي الفدرالى لطب الأسنان (FDI).

 وكان الهدف من الزيارة هو رفع مستوى الوعي لدى مقدمي الرعاية و الموظفين بالدار فيما يتعلق بصحة الفم والأسنان. وقد تم تقديم جلسة توعية من قبل اطباء و طبيبات الامتياز لتوضح أهمية تنظيف الأسنان والتقنيات الصحيحة لنظافة الفم.

 وقام اطباء و طبيبات الامتياز بعمل كشف لجميع الاطفال وأفراد الدار من العاملين و الموظفين تحت إشراف السادة اعضاء هيئة التدريس و دعوتهم جميعا لتلقى العلاج اللازم مجانا بمجمع العيادات بالكلية. كما تم شراء مواد الغذائية وتقديمها للدار. و قد قام موظف FDI بتوزيع 150 فرشاة ومعجون أسنان على جميع الأفراد الذين تم فحصهم من اطفال ومقدمى الرعاية والعاملين بالدار.

 وتم توزيع استبيانات على العاملين ومقدمي الرعاية لتحديد احتياجاتهم من صحة الأسنان وتقييم البرنامج المقدم وقياس مدى رضاهم عن الزيارة.

 و كانت نسبة رضا العاملين بالدار عن الزيارة 100%
و نسبة رضا المشاركين فى الزيارة 100%

تم تنظيم زيارة جمعية النور والأمل للكفيفات إلى مجمع العيادات بكلية طب الفم والأسنان من خلال إدارة خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة بكلية طب الفم والأسنان يوم الأربعاء الموافق 7 من فبراير 2024، لاستكمال الحالات من الزيارة السابقة والكشف على حالات جديدة، حيث قام 8 من أطباء وطبيبات الامتياز بالكشف على 6 من الكفيفات و6 من المرافقات وعلاجهن داخل العيادات تحت إشراف أ.د. وكيل الكلية لشؤون خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة وأ.د. مدير مجمع العيادات وأعضاء هيئة التدريس ومعاونيهم من مجمع العيادات ومن التخصصات العلمية المختلفة وأعضاء من لجنة خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة.

فى نهاية الزيارة تم توزيع استبيانات على المشرفات من الجمعية والمرافقات للكفيفات لتقييم الزيارة ورضا المرضى. وقد بلغت نسبة الرضا عن الخدمة العلاجية المقدمة 100%.

The Community Service and Environmental Affairs Committee organized a visit from El-Nour and El-Amal Association for 6 visually impaired females and 6 of their companions to the Dental Clinics Complex at the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Misr International University on 7 February 2024.

9 interns examined the visually impaired patients and their caregivers. New cases were referred to the required departments. Patients also resumed the treatments they started on the previous visit.

The visit was supervised by the Vice Dean of Community Service and Environmental Affairs, the Head of the Dental Clinics Complex, staff members, teaching assistants, and members of the Community Service and Environmental Affairs Committee.

By the end of the visit, a survey was given to the caregivers accompanying the blind patients to evaluate their satisfaction with the whole visit. The satisfaction rate was 100%

A group of interns and staff members from the Oral Medicine and Diagnosis, and Oral Surgery Departments joined the trip. A team from the World Dental Federation (FDI) also joined the trip.

The purpose of the visit was to raise the awareness of the employees, caregivers, and children regarding dental health. An awareness session was given by the interns, highlighting the importance of tooth brushing and the proper techniques for oral hygiene.

The interns examined all the children, caregivers, and employees of the orphanage house under the supervision of professors from the Oral Medicine and Diagnosis, and Oral Surgery departments. Each patient was given a diagnostic card of their case. Food and health supplies were donated to the house. FDI members distributed 150 toothbrushes and tubes of toothpaste to the children, caregivers, and employees.

Questionnaires were distributed to the employees and caregivers to determine their dental health needs and to measure their satisfaction with the visit. Another questionnaire was distributed to the participating interns and staff members to evaluate the outcome of the visit.

قامت ادارة خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة بكلية طب الفم والأسنان بجامعة مصر الدولية باستضافة فريق عمل من الاتحاد الدولى لطب الأسنان World Dental Federation FDI في مجمع العيادات بالكلية يوم الأربعاء الموافق 6 سبتمبر 2023 على هامش انطلاق حملة التوعية عن أهمية صحة الفم والأسنان وذلك بمشاركة شركة يونيليفر بعلامتها التجارية الرائدة “سيجنال”.

وقد قام عدد من أطباء الامتياز بإلقاء محاضرات بساحة انتظار المرضى بمجمع العيادات بهدف توعية المرضى بكيفية الحفاظ على صحة الفم والأسنان تحت اشراف لجنة خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة وفريق من العيادات ومن أقسام الكلية المختلفة من أعضاء هيئة تدريس ومعاونيهم والإداريين والعاملين بالكلية.

كما تم توزيع فرش وعبوات معجون الأسنان على المرضى اثناء التوعية وأيضا تم توزيع أوراق للتلوين على الأطفال للتوعية بشأن صحة الفم والاسنان بطريقة مبسطة.

A group of interns and staff members from the Oral Surgery Department and a team from the World Dental Federation (FDI) joined the trip.

The purpose of the visit was to raise the awareness of the girls, caregivers, and employees regarding oral and dental health. Awareness sessions were given by the interns, highlighting the importance of tooth brushing and the proper techniques for oral hygiene.

The interns examined all the girls, caregivers, and employees under the supervision of professors from the Oral Surgery Department. FDI members distributed toothbrushes and tubes of toothpaste to the girls, caregivers, and employees.

The interns examined all the children, caregivers, and employees of the Orphanage House under the supervision of professors from the Fixed Prosthodontics Department. FDI members distributed toothbrushes and tubes of toothpaste to the children, caregivers, and employees.

The purpose of the visit was to raise the awareness of the employees and caregivers regarding dental health. An awareness session was given by the interns under the supervision of professor from the Oral Medicine and Diagnosis, and Pediatric Dentistry Departments, highlighting the importance of tooth brushing for the children and the proper techniques. Medical supplies were donated to the house. FDI team distributed toothbrushes and tubes of toothpaste.
