Faculty of Pharmacy Celebrates the Annual Computer-aided Drug Discovery Poster Day

On May 28, 2024, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Misr International University hosted its annual Drug Discovery Poster Day, showcasing the remarkable achievements of its students in computer-aided drug design, under the supervision of the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department.

Throughout the semester, fourth year pharmacy students were divided into teams, each undertaking a unique drug discovery project. These teams applied their knowledge of computational chemistry and pharmacology to identify potential new drug candidates.

On the event day, 70 projects were presented as research posters, covering topics such as drug repurposing, virtual screening, and 3DQSAR modeling. These presentations highlighted the innovative research being conducted by the next generation of pharmaceutical scientists.

The event was a resounding success, demonstrating the impressive capabilities of pharmacy students and the university’s commitment to advancing the field of drug discovery.

نظمت كلية الصيدلة يوم ملصق اكتشاف الأدوية السنوي

في 28 مايو 2024 نظمت كلية الصيدلة بجامعة مصر الدولية يوم ملصق اكتشاف الأدوية السنوي حيث عرض الطلاب إنجازاتهم في تصميم الأدوية بمساعدة الكمبيوتر.

طوال فصل ربيع 2024 تم تقسيم طلاب الفرقة الرابعة من كلية الصيدلة إلى مجموعات واستخدم الطلاب معرفتهم بالكيمياء الحسابية وعلم الأدوية لتحديد الأدوية الجديدة المحتملة.


في يوم الحدث تم تقديم 70 مشروعًا كملصقات بحثية تغطي مواضيع مثل إعادة استخدام الأدوية والفحص الافتراضي والنمذجة 3DQSAR


وقد حقق الحدث نجاحاً باهراً حيث أظهر قدرات طلاب الصيدلة والتزام الجامعة بالتقدم في مجال اكتشاف الأدوية.

The Architecture Department’s Final Graduation Project Evaluation

The Architecture Department’s Final Graduation Project Evaluation was held from June 25- 27. The jury featured renowned jurors- Prof. Luca Deon, professor of architecture at Hochschule Luzern and founder of Deon Architekten and Prof. Amr Abd El Kawi, professor of architecture at the American University in Cairo.

The esteemed professionals brought a wealth of experience and expertise to the table, providing students with invaluable feedback and deeper insights into their projects. This engagement not only validated the students’ hard work but also inspired them to push the boundaries of their designs and continue striving for excellence in the field of architecture. The guidance given by these jurors will undoubtedly shape the students’ future careers, leaving a lasting impact on their professional development and contributions.

ظهور جامعة مصر الدولية في تصنيف التايمز للسنة الخامسة

حققت جامعة مصر الدولية إنجازًا مهمًا، حيث تم تصنيفها من بين أفضل الجامعات في العالم في تصنيف التايمز للتعليم العالي للسنة الخامسة. وجاء تصنيف جامعة مصر الدولية بين أكثر المؤسسات مساهمةً في تحقيق أهداف الأمم المتحدة للتنمية المستدامة في المرتبة من 1001-1500 ضمن 2152 جامعة من 125 دولة على مستوى العالم.

The Faculty of Business Administration hosted a webinar on Digital Media Buying.

The webinar was conducted by the MIU alumni Ahmed Hussein who is, at present, the Digital Media Senior Campaign Manager at Walmart Connect. Mr Ahmed helped students unlock the secrets of effective media buying by highlighting its trends and strategies as well as the methods of properly reaching the target audience. The webinar was concluded by a Q&A session.

أقامت كلية ادارة الأعمال ندوة عبر الإنترنت (وبينار)،عن طرق الدعاية الإلكترونية. واستضافت الندوة أ. أحمد حسين مدير الحملات الدعائية للإعلان الإكتروني Walmart Connect,خريج جامعة مصر الدولية.سلطت الندوة الضوء على اتجاهات واستراتيجيات الدعاية الإلكترونية إلى جانب كيفية الوصول بشكل صحيح إلى المستهلك المستهدف.

Al-Alsun Committee Applauds Student Accomplishments in Suبtitling Projects

On Monday the 10th of June 2024, 100 students from the Translation for Media Use I (Suبtitling) course, Al-Alsun Department, presented their suبtitled audiovisual projects in front of a committee of examiners. 

 The Suبtitling projects targeted integrating the theoretical knowledge students acquire during the semester with practical application to produce suبtitled audiovisual material that meets industry standards, reflecting the Department’s commitment to providing hands-on experience to its students.

Students received feedback on their translation strategies and timing techniques. The committee expressed its appreciation of the students’ hard work and commitment reflected in their projects.

طلاب قسم الألسن يتألقون في عرض مشاريع مقرر ترجمة الأفلام

يوم الاثنين الموافق 10 يونيو نظم قسم الألسن لجنة مناقشة مشاريع مقرر ترجمة الأفلام Subtitling حيث عرض 100 طالبًا مشاريع ترجمة الأفلام التي عملوا على ترجمتها في الفصل الدراسي ربيع 2024. قامت اللجنة بتقييم مشاريع الطلاب وناقشت معهم اختياراتهم في الترجمة. علقت اللجنة على جودة ترجمة الطلاب والعمل الجاد الذي قاموا به.

Distinguished faculty members   and teaching assistants presented two scientific sessions in the field of endodontics and fixed prosthodontics.

شاركت جامعة مصر الدولية ممثلة في كلية طب الفم والأسنان في فاعليات مؤتمر الصحة الأفريقي 2024 وذلك من خلال الجلسات العلمية للجامعات المصرية في برنامج المؤتمر.
وقد شملت مشاركة الكلية مجموعة من المحاضرات العلمية تحت عنوان “تطبيقات الذكاء الإصطناعي في مجال طب الأسنان” وبالتحديد في مجال علاج الجذور والإستعاضة السنية المثبتة. وقد قام بإلقاء المحاضرات مجموعة متميزة من أعضاء هيئة التدريس والهيئة المعاونة.
