Academic Advising Procedures
The Faculty assigns an academic advisor for each group of students. The advisor will be assisting for the group’s academic affairs and for the selection of their courses. The students should be in contact with their advisors within the registration period of every academic semester in order to help them register for their courses online.
Student Academic Load
The average academic load for a regular student in an academic semester ranges from 4-5 courses or 12-17 hours per week in addition to a non- credit English course. The summer semester average academic load ranges from 1-2 courses.
Academic Supervision Rules
Students who fail to maintain a GPA of 2.00 will be placed on academic probation and will be restricted to a load of 12 credit hours or 4 courses per semester. Students on probation who are enrolled in the faculties of Pharmacy or Engineering can register for a maximum of 14 credit hours.
The probationary period provides students with an opportunity to fix their GPA. This period may last for no more than three regular semesters. If students fail to achieve the required grade average by the end of the probationary period, they will be expelled.

- Students must check their e-mail regularly to be well aware of all steps related to schedules & advising.
