On February 24, 2025, the Faculty of Pharmacy’s Continuing Education Committee in collaboration with the Pharmaceutical Technology Department hosted the second cosmeceutical Exhibition. The exhibition showcased the creations of 40 talented participants from the 2^nd and 3^rd rounds of the Advanced Cosmeceutical Workshop.

Participants presented their products, ranging from rejuvenating body lotions and whitening serums to nourishing hair masks and moisturizing urea creams. They also shared the story behind their creations with industry experts, Dr. Mohamed El Enany, CEO of Multicosmo Pharma and Dr. Mahmoud El Sonbaty, Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Training and Development Consultant who offered valuable insights and feedback.

في 24 فبراير 2025 نظمت لجنة التعليم المستمر بكلية الصيدلة بالتعاون مع قسم التكنولوجيا الصيدلانية ثاني معارضها المبتكرة لمستحضرات التجميل.
استعرض المعرض الإبداعات الرائعة لـ40 مشارك من الدورتين الثانية والثالثة لورشة العمل المتقدمة لمستحضرات التجميل.
قام المشاركون بعرض منتجاتهم المميزة التي شملت لوشن الجسم وأقنعة الشعر المغذية وكريمات اليوريا المرطبة.
وقدم الخبيران الدكتور محمد العناني، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة Multicosmo Pharma والدكتور محمود السنباطي، أستاذ مساعد في الصيدلانيات ومستشار تدريب وتطوير الصيدلة رؤى قيّمة وملاحظات مفيدة للمشاركين.

As part of MIU’s commitment to inspiring entrepreneurship and empowering students to bring their ideas to life, the Continuing Education Committee, in collaboration with the Pharmaceutical Technology Department at the Faculty of Pharmacy, held the second cosmeceutical workshop given by Dr. Mohamed El Enany, CEO of Multicosmo Pharma and Dr. Mahmoud El Sonbaty, Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Training and Development Consultant. Participants gained hands-on experience in the world of cosmeceuticals. From product formulation to regulations and quality control, participants covered all aspects of cosmeceutical development. At the end of the workshop, participants created their own products under expert guidance.

ورشة عمل مستحضرات التجميل الطبية في جامعة مصر الدولية

نظمت لجنة التعليم المستمر بالتعاون مع قسم الصيدلة التكنولوجية بكلية الصيدلة ورشة عمل عن مستحضرات التجميل الطبية. قدم الورشة الدكتور محمد العناني، مؤسس شركة ملتيكوزمو فارما والدكتور محمود السنباطي، أستاذ مساعد في الصيدلانيات واستشاري التدريب والتطوير الصيدلاني.
تمتع المشاركون بتجربة عملية في تطوير مستحضرات التجميل الطبية بدءًا من تركيب المنتجات وصولًا إلى اللوائح وإجراءات الجودة وقام المشاركون بصنع منتجاتهم الخاصة. تعكس ورشة العمل التزام جامعة مصر الدولية بتشجيع ريادة الأعمال وتمكين الطلاب من تحويل أفكارهم إلى مشاريع واقعية.

The Pharmaceutics Department at the Faculty of Pharmacy recently hosted a cosmeceutical workshop led by Dr. Mahmoud Elsonbaty, Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Training & Development Consultant and Dr. Mohamed El Enany, Formulator and CEO of Mulitcosmo Pharma Egypt.

Participants learned about cosmeceutical science, product formulation, quality control, and regulatory compliance, providing them with the knowledge and practical skills needed to start their own businesses. They also had the opportunity to create their own cosmeceutical products under expert guidance.

The workshop demonstrated the commitment of MIU to foster entrepreneurship and provide students with valuable educational opportunities.

The Faculty of Pharmacy’s Continuing Education Committee recently organized the “Applied Professional Cosmeceutical Workshop” for senior students and graduates. This four-day workshop, held from January 21 to January 31, 2024, aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and professional skills in the cosmeceutical field.

Dr. Mahmoud El Sonbaty, a lecturer of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology at Al-Azhar University and a Community Pharmacy Training Consultant, led the workshop.

During the event, 18 participants were introduced to various cosmeceutical products and learned effective counselling and dispensing techniques for different consumers and patients.

The workshop culminated in a final presentation and project, allowing participants to showcase the new knowledge and skills they have acquired. This comprehensive learning experience not only enriched their professional expertise but also prepared them for real-world applications in the cosmeceutical industry.

ورشة عمل في مجال المستحضرات التجميلية لتعزيز مهارات طلاب وخريجي كلية الصيدلة

نظمت لجنة التعليم المستمر بكلية الصيدلة ورشة عمل بعنوان “الورشة المهنية التطبيقية عن مستحضرات التجميل” لطلبة الفرقة النهائية وخريجي الكلية. هدفت الورشة إلى تعزيز معارف المشاركين ومهاراتهم المهنية في مجال مستحضرات التجميل.

أدار الورشة الدكتور “محمود السنباطي” مدرس الصيدلانيات والتكنولوجيا الصيدلية بجامعة الأزهر واستشاري تدريب صيادلة الصيدليات المجتمعية.

وخلال ورشة العمل التي استمرت لمدة أربعة أيام، تعرف 18 مشاركًا على المنتجات التجميلية المختلفة وتقديم الاستشارات الفعالة وكيفية وصف المنتجات لمختلف المستهلكين والمرضى.

وفي اليوم الأخير من ورشة العمل، أتيحت الفرصة لجميع المشاركين لعرض ما تعلموه من خلال تقديم عرض تقديمي شامل. وقد أتاح لهم ذلك إظهار المعارف والمهارات التي اكتسبوها خلال ورشة العمل.

The Continuing Education Committee at the Faculty of Pharmacy, MIU, is delighted to announce the successful completion of the Leadership and Entrepreneurship program.  The program was attended by 26 distinguished graduates and anticipated senior students from the Faculty of Pharmacy.

Led by Dr. Mina Magdy Habib, a Training Consultant in Egypt and African markets, the program aimed to empower participants with invaluable skills.  These included the ability to identify diverse opportunities, embrace calculated risks, and efficiently organize resources for venture creation and growth.

This initiative reflects the faculty’s commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, ensuring graduates and seniors are equipped with essential skills for success in leadership and entrepreneurship. The faculty congratulates all participants on this significant milestone!
