يسر كلية الصيدلة بجامعة مصر الدولية أن تعلن عن الإنجاز المتميز لطلاب الصيدلة في الدورة ال 29 لمؤتمر ومعرض دبي الدولي للصيدلة والتكنولوجيا – دوفات (دوفات 24). للسنة الحادية عشرة على التوالي، حقق طلاب الصيدلة في MIU نجاحًا هائلًا في المؤتمر حيث حصلوا على جائزة رابع أفضل ملصق صيدلة إبداعي وجائزة خامس أفضل ملصق صيدلة مبتكر.

وشهد المؤتمر، الذي عُقد في الفترة من 9 إلى 11 يناير 2024 في مركز دبي التجاري العالمي بدبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، مشاركة 21 طالب يمثلون بفخر كلية الصيدلة. تحت إشراف أعضاء هيئة التدريس والهيئة المعاونة أتيحت للطلاب فرصة لعرض أعمالهم أمام الحكام وأعضاء هيئة التدريس والمشرفين من الجامعات المرموقة الأخرى.

أظهر فريق الأحياء الدقيقة، بقيادة الأستاذة الدكتورة ميرفت البرهامي والدكتور خالد سمير والدكتورة هبة مجدي والدكتورة نهى كامل، مهارة ومعرفة استثنائية وحصلوا على جائزة رابع أفضل ملصق صيدلة إبداعي عن عملهم بعنوان “تقييم معارف واتجاهات طلاب جامعة مصر الدولية تجاه التدخين مع التركيز بشكل خاص على التدخين السلبي”. تهانينا للطالبات رؤى عبد المجيد وساندي مراد ومريم أيمن على مساهمتهن المتميزة في هذا الإنجاز.

وعرض فريق الكيمياء التحليلية تحت إشراف الدكتورة رشا محمود والدكتورة نهى إبراهيم ابتكاراتهم حيث حصل الطلاب رنا عبد الرحمن وهناء طارق وآسر جمال وأدهم محمد على جائزة خامس أفضل ملصق صيدلة مبتكر عن ملصقهم الرائع بعنوان “تقييم الخضرة للطريقة الكروماتوغرافية للقياس الكمي لبعض بقايا المضادات الحيوية في عينات مياه الصرف الصناعي”.

تهنئ كلية الصيدلة بجامعة مصر الدولية الفريقين على إنجازاتهما الاستثنائية، والتي تعزز مكانة الجامعة كمركز للتميز في التدريس والبحث في الصيدلة. تتطلع الكلية إلى المزيد من النجاحات من طلابها الموهوبين في المستقبل.

The Faculty of Pharmacy organized a workshop in collaboration with ANKH Bioinformatics on the 24th of May 2023, aiming to expand the knowledge of students on Bioinformatics. During the workshop, three presentations were given titled: Genomics Overview, Forensics, and Applied Bioinformatics Case Study: Lung Cancer.
ANKH Bioinformatics is a part of HITS Solutions which is an artificial intelligence company working in the fields of Business Applications, IoT, Bioinformatics, Services &Trade. نظمت كلية الصيدلة ورشة عمل بالتعاون مع ANKH Bioinformatics في 24 مايو 2023، بهدف زيادة معرفة الطلاب بالمعلوماتية الحيوية. تم خلال الورشة تقديم ثلاثة عروض تقديمية بعنوان: نظرة عامة على علم الجينوم – الطب الشرعي – دراسة تطبيقية في مجال المعلوماتية الحيوية عن سرطان الرئة.
ANKH Bioinformatics هي جزء من HITS Solutions وهي شركة ذكاء اصطناعي في مجالات تطبيقات الأعمال وإنترنت الأشياء والمعلوماتية الحيوية والخدمات والتجارة. لدى الشركة أكثر من 1.1 مليون مستخدم في أكثر من 50 دولة حول العالم. لقد كانت HITS Solutions الشريك الذهبي لشركة Microsoft لمدة 5 سنوات متتالية.

نظمت كلية الصيدلة بالتعاون مع مركز الخدمات الطبية والبحث العلمي رحلة ميدانية لطلاب الفرقة الثالثة والرابعة والخامسة. وكان الهدف من الزيارة هو تعريف الطلاب بالأقسام المختلفة داخل المركز مثل قسم العلوم الحيوية ومركز التكافؤ الحيوي وكان الغرض الأساسي من الزيارة هو زيادة وعي الطلاب بشأن الممارسات البحثية وتبادل المعرفة البحثية للدراسات العليا بطريقة سهلة وبسيطة.

The Faculty of Pharmacy, in collaboration with the Medical Services and Scientific Research Center (MARC), organized a field trip for third to fifth-year students on 19-20 December 2023. The visit aimed to familiarize students with various departments within the Center, starting with the Contract Research Organization (CRO) Department, followed by the Biosciences Lab Department, and the Bio-equivalence Center. The primary goal was to provide students with insights into research practices and foster the exchange of post-graduate research knowledge in a simple and accessible manner.

The Continuing Education and Professional Development Committee at the Faculty of Pharmacy has established a strategic partnership with Limitless Care Company to conduct a workshop on the role of pharmacists in the domain of health insurance.

The workshop was attended by 25 students from the fourth and fifth years. The workshop took place at the premises of Limitless Care on December 13, 2023, and was given by Mr. Mahmoud El Sherief, Dr. Michael Morgan, and Dr. Mohamed Tayseer.

The primary objective of this workshop was to equip students of the Faculty of Pharmacy with comprehensive insights and professional skills required in the emerging career path of the health insurance industry.

A delegation comprising 43 male and female students from the MIU Faculty of Pharmacy visited the headquarters of the Egyptian Ambulance Authority (EAE) on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.

During the visit, the students participated in practical training for various emergency scenarios, gaining insights into the crucial role played by the Egyptian Ambulance Authority. They learned about the authority’s exceptional efforts, not only in the field of providing urgent medical services but also in training and raising awareness.

At the end of the visit, Dr. Amr Rashid, Head of the Egyptian Ambulance Authority, graciously received the delegation and presented the EAE’s shield to the Faculty of Pharmacy.

قام وفد من كلية الصيدلة بجامعة مصر الدوليه ضم 43 طالبًا وطالبة بزيارة المقر الرئيسي لهيئة الإسعاف المصرية يوم الاربعاء الموافق 22 نوفمبر2023 حيث شهدوا تدريبًا عمليًا لسيناريوهات حالات الطوارئ المختلفة.

تعرف الطلاب خلال الزيارة على الدور الحيوي الذي تؤديه هيئة الإسعاف المصرية والجهود المتميزة التي تبذلها على كافة المستويات. إذ لا يقتصر دورها على تقديم الخدمة الطبية العاجلة بل يشمل كذلك التدريب والتعليم والتوعية.

في نهاية الزيارة أستقبل الدكتور عمرو رشيد رئيس هيئة الإسعاف المصرية الطلاب وأهدى سيادته درع الهيئة للكلية.

The 3^rd Medication Safety Week was successfully organized by the ISOP-Egypt Chapter in collaboration with the MIU Faculty of Pharmacy Development, Awareness, and Training Committee, along with the Office of Pharmacy Experiential Training during the period from 14/11/2023 to 21/11/2023.

The event witnessed active participation from twenty of our fifth-year students, dedicated to promoting pharmacovigilance among peers and campus staff.

Notably, a parallel awareness campaign took place at the Teachers’ Hospital, engaging medical staff, patients, and caregivers.

We are excited to share that MIU has selected four students from the medical sector, including two from the Faculty of Pharmacy and two from the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, to compete in the 2023 International Interprofessional Case Competition (I2C2) hosted by Gulf Medical University in the UAE.

Interprofessional education (IPE) is a fundamental pedagogical approach that involve the engagement of different healthcare professions in an integrated learning environment to foster collaboration and improve health outcomes. Teams from diverse professions and prestigious universities from around the world are participating in the competition to provide the best treatment plan for a clinical case.

Misr International University has initiated its first steps towards adopting the IPE to medical sector students; thus, enhancing its graduates’ competencies as members of efficient healthcare teams to accomplish the faculties’ missions in optimizing patient care and promoting the health and well-being of the public.
