The Faculty of Pharmacy at Misr International University played a significant role in the 9th Arab International Pharmacy Conference (AIPC 2025), which took place on May 10–11, 2025, at Concorde El Salam Hotel, Cairo, as a Strategic Partner alongside the Arab Association for Pharmacy Progress (AAPP).
Demonstrating its dedication to enhancing pharmacy education, MIU organized a panel discussion titled: “Towards Competency-Based Pharmacy Education and Assessment: Year 6 Internship and Licensure Exam Frameworks”. This session, held on Saturday, May 10th, in Adam Hall, gathered prominent academic leaders and regulatory stakeholders to explore the evolving dynamics of pharmacy education in Egypt. Key topics included the implementation of Year 6 experiential training and the National Licensure Exam, which are initiatives designed to improve the competency and preparedness of pharmacy graduates.
