زيارة الدكتور مايكل باخر إلى جامعة مصر الدولية
استقبلت جامعة مصر الدولية الأستاذ الألماني المرموق الدكتور مايكل باخر من معهد علم المناعة بجامعة فيليب ماربورغ وهو شخصية رائدة في أبحاث علم المناعة. في الفترة من 2 إلى 13 مارس 2025 أثرى الدكتور باخر طلاب دكتور الصيدلة (Pharm D) بمحاضرات متقدمة في علم الأدوية والعلاج الدوائي مع التركيز على المسارات المناعية الالتهابية في الأمراض العصبية والنفسية.
Renowned immunologist Prof. Michael Bacher, from Philipp University of Marburg, Germany, is sharing his expertise with MIU pharmacy students. His visit, from March 2nd to 13th, 2025, features a series of lectures on neuroimmunology, focusing on the role of immunoinflammatory pathways in neurological and psychological disorders.
Prof. Bacher’s insights are designed to enhance students’ understanding of the critical intersection between immunology and clinical practice.
This visit underscores MIU’s dedication to international collaboration and advanced learning.
البروفيسور مايكل باتشر يتحدث عن علم المناعة العصبية مع طلاب كلية الصيدلة بجامعة مصر الدولية
يشارك البروفيسور مايكل باتشر، أستاذ علم المناعة بمعهد علم المناعة في جامعة فيليبس ماربورغ، ألمانيا خبرته مع طلاب صيدلة جامعة مصر الدولية. تتضمن زيارته من 2 إلى 13 مارس 2025 سلسلة من المحاضرات حول علم المناعة العصبية مع التركيز على دور المسارات المناعية الالتهابية في الاضطرابات العصبية والنفسية.
تهدف محاضراته إلى تعزيز فهم الطلاب لمفاهيم حديثة تربط بين علم المناعة وتطبيقاته السريرية في علم الأدوية وعلاج الأمراض العصبية.
تعكس هذه الزيارة التزام كلية الصيدلة بتوفير فرص تعليمية متقدمة لطلابها وتعزيز التعاون مع الخبراء الدوليين في هذا المجال.
استضافت الجامعة حفل إفطار للعاملين بمناسبة حلول شهر رمضان المبارك وذلك يوم الأحد الموافق 9 مارس 2025. وأقيم الاحتفال داخل الحرم الجامعي بحضور رئيس وأعضاء مجلس الأمناء وعمداء الكليات بالإضافة إلى مديرين الإدارات من أعضاء هيئة التدريس والهيئة المعاونة. وقد أضفت الأنغام الرمضانية التي قدمتها الفرقة الموسيقية أجواء من السعادة والبهجة على الحفل وأبدى الحضور سعادتهم آملين تكرار هذا الاحتفال كل عام.
The student team HIVE has successfully qualified for the final stage of the Gen-Z University Challenge, the largest competition for innovative ideas, entrepreneurship and scientific research for Egyptian university students, which is broadcast on DMC channel. The team is competing for support of up to 2 million Egyptian pounds thanks to their innovative project that aims to revolutionize the field of local manufacturing by connecting factories with companies that need manufacturing services.
Mohamed Ashraf, a student at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Misr International University and the CEO of the team, explained their vision, saying: “Our project aims to bring together all factories in Egypt on a single platform that acts as a link between factories and companies wishing to manufacture locally. We need one million Egyptian pounds to support this project, which facilitates the production process and makes it more efficient.”
Thanks to their efforts, the HIVE team was able to contract with many factories, major brands and shipping companies in Egypt, and gained 950,000 Egyptian pounds in just five months. During the competition, the team received amazing support of 1.4 million Egyptian pounds, in addition to technical support and a partnership with Microsoft Egypt.
Misr International University is proud of the achievement of the HIVE team and wishes them success in the final stage of the competition. Let us all support them and celebrate this great achievement.
تهانينا لفريق HIVE من جامعة مصر الدولية
نجح الفريق الطلابي HIVE في التأهل للمرحلة النهائية من تحدي Gen-Z للجامعات، أكبر مسابقة للأفكار الابتكارية وريادة الأعمال والبحث العلمي لطلاب الجامعات المصرية والتي تُبث عبر قناة DMC. يتنافس الفريق على دعم يصل إلى 2 مليون جنيه مصري بفضل مشروعهم المبتكر الذي يهدف إلى إحداث نقلة نوعية في مجال التصنيع المحلي من خلال ربط المصانع بالشركات التي تحتاج إلى خدمات التصنيع.
محمد أشرف الطالب بكلية الصيدلة بجامعة مصر الدولية والرئيس التنفيذي للفريق أوضح رؤيتهم قائلاً: “يهدف مشروعنا إلى جمع جميع المصانع في مصر على منصة واحدة تعمل كحلقة وصل بين المصانع والشركات الراغبة في التصنيع المحلي. نحن بحاجة إلى مليون جنيه مصري لدعم هذا المشروع الذي يسهل عملية الإنتاج ويجعلها أكثر كفاءة.”
تمكن فريق HIVE من التعاقد مع عدد كبير من المصانع والعلامات التجارية الكبرى وشركات الشحن في مصر وحصلوا على 950,000 جنيه مصري في خمسة أشهر فقط. وخلال المسابقة حصل الفريق على دعم مذهل بقيمة 1.4 مليون جنيه مصري بالإضافة إلى دعم تقني وشراكة مع ميكروسوفت مصر.
تفخر جامعة مصر الدولية بإنجاز فريق HIVE وتتمنى لهم التوفيق في المرحلة النهائية من المسابقة. لندعمهم جميعًا ونحتفل بهذا الإنجاز العظيم.
شاركت الجامعة يوم الاثنين الموافق 24/2/2025 في فعاليات اليوم العالمي لصحة الفم والأسنان الذي تم تنظيمه بالتنسيق مع منظمة الصحة العالمية والاتحاد العالمي لطب الأسنان وبحضور د/ نهاوند ثابت عضو المجلس الأعلى للاتحاد العالمي لطب الأسنان وممثلة القارة الأفريقية في المجلس وبمشاركة النشاط الطلابي CDC. تم تسجيل النشاط المقدم وموعده على الخريطة العالمية.
تمت توعية الطلاب والعاملين بالجامعة بصحة الفم والأسنان. وتم تجهيز جناح في ساحة الجامعة يحتوي على العديد من الكتيبات التثقيفية ولوحة تعليمية وشاشة عرض بغرض التوعية بصحة الفم والأسنان بالإضافة إلى العديد من الألعاب الترفيهية. كما تم عمل جناح آخر من شركة هيلين ووزعت الشركة مطويات تعليمية على جميع المشاركين. وقام طلاب النشاط الطلابي CDC بتوزيع فرش أسنان ومعاجين مهداة من شركة سيجنال وتم توزيع كتيبات تثقيفية وهدايا على جميع المشاركين في هذا اليوم من الطلاب والعاملين بالجامعة.
كما شملت الفعاليات توعية المرضى المترددين على مجمع عيادات الأسنان وتوزيع معاجين وفرش وكتيبات إرشادية لصحة الفم والأسنان في ساحة الانتظار الخاصة بمجمع العيادات. بالإضافة إلى عرض مسرحي لتوعية الأطفال عن كيفية المحافظة على صحة الفم والأسنان. وتم عرض الفيديو الخاص بمنظمة الصحة العالمية على شاشة العرض بجوار الجناح المقام به الفعاليات والمبنى الرئيس بالجامعة. وبعد انتهاء الحدث قام أعضاء النادي الطلابي CDC بتوزيع الاستبيانات لقياس رضا المشاركين.
أثبتت النتائج الآتي: –
1- رضا المرضى المترددين على مجمع العيادات بكلية طب الفم والأسنان
قام 77 مريضًا ومريضة من المترددين على مجمع عيادات طب الأسنان بالجامعة بالرد على الاستبيان. بلغت نسبة المريضات 79.2% من الإجابات وكان متوسط العمر 37.6 عامًا وتراوحت أعمار المرضى من 12 إلى 70عامًا. بالنسبة للتوزيع الوظيفي لهؤلاء المرضى فقد جاء ما يزيد عن نصف الإجابات (59.7%) من ربات المنزل، 10.4% ممن يعملون أعمالًا حرفية ومهنية، 11.7% من ذوي الأعمال المكتبية أو المهن المرموقة، 15.6% من الطلاب و2.6% من المتقاعدين.
يوضح شكل رقم (1) متوسط درجة الرضا عن الأنشطة المختلفة والرضا العام عن الاحتفالية. وقد بلغ المتوسط العام لرضا المرضى 9.48/10. وحقق الرضا عن الوسائل التعليمية والإيضاحية أعلى متوسط رضا والذي بلغ 9.38 تلاه الرضا عن أنشطة التوعية (9.2) ثم الرضا عن تنظيم الفعاليات بمتوسط (9.19).

2- رضا العاملين والعاملات بكلية طب الفم والأسنان
قام 48 من العامين بكلية طب الفم والأسنان بالجامعة بالرد على الاستبيان. بلغت نسبة العاملات 41.7% من الاجابات وكان متوسط العمر 38.8 عامًا وتراوحت أعمار العاملين من 18 إلى 54 عامًا.
يوضح شكل رقم (2) متوسط درجة الرضا عن الأنشطة المختلفة والرضا العام عن الاحتفالية. وقد بلغ المتوسط العام لرضا العاملين 9.53/10. وحقق الرضا عن تنظيم الفعاليات أعلى متوسط رضا والذي بلغ 9.4 تلاه الرضا عن الوسائل التعليمية والإيضاحية (9.36) ثم الرضا عن أنشطة التوعية بمتوسط (8.87).

3- رضا طلاب الجامعة
قام 200 من طلاب الجامعة من مختلف الكليات بالرد على الاستبيان. جاءت أكثر الإجابات (35.9%) من طلاب كلية طب الفم والأسنان تليها كلية الألسن والإعلام (18.7%) كما هو موضح في شكل رقم (3). أما بالنسبة للفرق الدراسية فقد جاء ما يقارب نصف الإجابات (48%) من طلاب الفرق الأولى بالكليات المختلفة. بلغت نسبة الطالبات 57.1% من إجمالي الردود.
يوضح شكل رقم (4) متوسط درجة الرضا عن الأنشطة المختلفة والرضا العام عن الاحتفالية. وقد بلغ المتوسط العام لرضا الطلاب 9.23/10. وحقق الرضا عن تنظيم الفعاليات أعلى متوسط رضا والذي بلغ 9.1 تلاه الرضا عن الوسائل التعليمية والإيضاحية (8.98) ثم الرضا عن أنشطة التوعية بمتوسط (8.9) وأخيرًا نسبة الرضا عن الألعاب المرتبطة بالأنشطة بمتوسط (8.8).
وقد قدم بعض الطلاب مقترحات بزيادة الهدايا الموزعة وزيادة الألعاب.

On Monday, 24/2/2025, the university participated in the activities of the World Oral Health Day, which was organized in coordination with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Dental Federation (FDI), in the presence of Dr. Nahawand Thabet, member of the Supreme Council of the International Dental Federation and representative of the African continent in the Council, with the participation of Community Dental Care (CDC) students’ club. The activity and its date are recorded on the global map https://www.worldoralhealthday.org/map-activities
The event aimed at raising the awareness of students and university staff about oral and dental health. A booth was set up on campus featuring educational booklets, posters and a display screen. Another booth for Haleon company also distributed educational leaflets and giveaways to all participants. The CDC members distributed toothbrushes and pastes donated by Signal. Educational booklets and gifts were distributed to all participants, including students and university employees.
The activities also involved educating patients visiting the Dental Clinics Complex (DCC). Toothpastes, dental brushes and pamphlets and brochures for oral and dental health were distributed in the waiting area of the DCC. A theatrical show was performed for the children in the waiting area on how to improve their oral and dental health. The WHO video was displayed on the display screen next to the booth where the events are held and in the main building of the university. After the event, members of the CDC distributed questionnaires to measure the satisfaction of the participants.
The results showed the following:
1- Satisfaction of patients attending Dental Clinics Complex (DCC) at the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine
A total of 77 patients who visited the Dental Clinics Complex answered the questionnaire. The age range of respondents was from 12 to 70 years. 59.7% housewives, 10.4% blue-collars, 11.7% white-collars, 15.6% students and 2.6% retired.
Figure (1) shows the average satisfaction with the various activities and general satisfaction with the celebration. The overall average patient satisfaction was 9.48/10. Educational materials received the highest level of satisfaction with (9.38), followed by satisfaction with awareness activities (9.2) and satisfaction with organization of the event with an average of (9.19).

2- Satisfaction of Employeesat the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine
A total of 48 employees at the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine responded to the questionnaire. The percentage of female workers was 41.7%, the mean age was 38.8 years, and the age range was 18 to 54 years.
Figure (2) shows the average satisfaction scores with the various activities and overall satisfaction with the celebration. The overall employee satisfaction was (9.53/10). The organization of events received the highest level of satisfaction with (9.4), followed by satisfaction with educational materials (9.36) and finally satisfaction with awareness activities with an average of (8.87).

3- University Students’ Satisfaction
A total of 200 university students from various faculties responded to the questionnaire. Most of the answers (35.9%) came from students of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, followed by the Faculty of Al-Alsun and Mass Communication (18.7%) as shown in Figure (3). Almost half of the answers (48%) came from first-year students in different faculties. The percentage of female students reached (57.1%) of the total responses.
Figure (4) shows the average satisfaction with the various activities and overall satisfaction with the event. The overall satisfaction was (9.23/10). The organization of events received the highest level of satisfaction with (9.1), followed by satisfaction with educational materials (8.98), satisfaction with awareness activities with an average of (8.9) and finally satisfaction with games related to the activities with an average of (8.8).
Some students suggested distributing and having more games.

The Internship Administration Office organized the “MIU Dental Implant Symposium” for faculty members and teaching assistants. The event took in Hall OOA on Monday, February 24, 2025. The event included lectures on topics related to dental implants, delivered by faculty members from the Oral Surgery Department, Dental Implant Program, Fixed Prosthodontics Department, Removable Prosthodontics Department, Oral Medicine & Periodontology Departments at Misr International University. Thirty faculty members and teaching assistants attended the symposium.
The symposium was sponsored by Valley Trade, a company specializing in dental implant products, dental implants, prosthetic dentures, and surgical tools, which organizes international educational events and symposiums related to dentistry.
ندوة زراعة الأسنان
نظمت إدارة تدريب أطباء الإمتياز ندوة زراعة الأسنان (MIU Dental Implant Symposium) بقاعة OOA بالجامعة في يوم الإثنين الموافق 24 فبراير 2025، وتم دعوة السادة أعضاء هيئة التدريس والهيئة المعاونة.
إشتمل اليوم على محاضرات في المجالات المتعلقة بزراعة الأسنان وقام بإلقاء المحاضرات السادة أعضاء هيئة التدريس بأقسام الجراحة، برنامج زراعة الأسنان ،التركيبات الثابتة ،التركيبات المتحركة وطب الفم وعلاج اللثة والتشخيص والأشعة بجامعة مصر الدولية،وقد حضر الندوة عدد ثلاثون من اعضاء هيئة التدريس والهيئة المعاونة.
The Faculty of Dentistry organized a scientific seminar titled “Faimer Scholarship Achievers Educational Projects” for the faculty members who attended the Faimer Fellowship program. The faculty members presented and explained the educational projects they worked on during their fellowship studies to their colleagues. Fourteen faculty members and teaching assistants attended the seminar that took place on Thursday, February 27, 2025,

قامت كليه طب الفم والاسنان يوم الخميس الموافق ٢٧ فبراير 2025 بتنسيق ندوة علمية للمدرسين الذين قاموا بحضور Faimer Fellowship وشرح المشاريع التعليمية التي قاموا ا بها خلال فترة دراستهم بالزمالة ،للسادة أعضاء هيئة التدريس والهيئة المعاونة في ندوة بعنوان ” Faimer scholarship Achievers Educational Projects ” وقد حضر الندوة عدد أربعة عشر فرد من أعضاء هيئة التدريس والهيئة المعاونة.
As part of a medical convoy in collaboration with the Operation Smile Association in Egypt, teaching assistants from the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery attended surgeries on a rotating basis for three days, the duration of the convoy. The surgeries took place at the Global Medical City Center on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, February 22, 23, and 24, 2025.
تدريب بمناظرة عمليات جراحية لمرضى الشفاه الأرنبية والشق الحلقي
ضمن قافلة علاجية بالتعاون مع جمعية الإبتسامة – مصر ،حضر الجراحات معاوني قسم جراحة الفم والوجه والفكين بالتناوب على مدار ثلاثة أيام وهي مدة القافلة، وذلك بمركز جلوبال ميديكال سيتي خلال أيام السبت ،الأحد والإثنين الموافقين 22 ،23 و24 فبراير 2025.
