On the 9th of March 2024, the Faculty of Pharmacy hosted its second annual Career Counseling Day. This event was part of the ongoing ‘Beyond the Counter’ series, aiming to provide students with a deeper understanding of the diverse career pathways available in pharmacy.
The day featured a series of engaging sessions that explored various aspects of career preparation such as CV writing, LinkedIn profiling, and career guidance. Students also gained insights into the cosmeceuticals field, nutrition plan pathways, and real-world experiences shared by industry professionals.
Esteemed speakers from prominent pharmaceutical companies such as Evapharma, Parkville, and MUP shared their personal journeys, highlighting the challenges they faced, the unexpected opportunities they seized, and the dedication required to succeed in the pharmaceutical industry.
Additionally, MIU alumni who have excelled at various industrial companies, including Migentra, AstraZeneca, Siemens, Servier, and MARC, shared their experiences and insights. They discussed the impact of their university education on their career paths, underscoring the importance of the curriculum they studied.
Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to enhance their interview skills through mock interviews conducted by the Pharmaoverseas HR team. They also received valuable feedback on their resumes and LinkedIn profiles from the Youth Leader Foundation team.
The Faculty of Pharmacy’s Career Counseling Day is a testament to the university’s dedication to guiding students toward fulfilling careers in the pharmaceutical industry.
The next event of the ‘Beyond the Counter’ series will continue to explore additional career options in the pharmacy profession, further enriching students’ understanding of the diverse opportunities available to them.

 أقامت كلية الصيدلة اليوم السنوي الثاني للإرشاد المهني في 9 مارس 2024. ويعد هذا الحدث جزء من سلسلة جلسات الإرشاد المهني المستمرة التي تهدف إلى توفير فهم أعمق للطلاب حول المسارات المهنية المتنوعة المتاحة في مجال الصيدلة.

 شهد اليوم سلسلة من الجلسات التي تناولت جوانب مختلفة من الإعداد المهني بما في ذلك كتابة السيرة الذاتية وإنشاء ملف تعريف على لينكد إن والإرشاد المهني. تعرف الطلاب أيضًا على مجالات مستحضرات التجميل والعمل في مجال خطط التغذية وتجارب العالم الحقيقي التي شاركها محترفو الصناعة.

 شارك المتحدثون من شركات صيدلانية بارزة مثل إيفا فارما وبارك فيل و MUP رحلاتهم الشخصية مسلطين الضوء على التحديات التي واجهوها والفرص غير المتوقعة التي استغلوها والتفاني المطلوب للنجاح في صناعة الصيدلة.

 بالإضافة إلى ذلك شارك خريجو جامعة مصر الدولية الذين يعملون في شركات صناعية مختلفة مثل Migentra
و AstraZeneca و Siemensو Servierو MARC تجاربهم وآراؤهم وناقشوا تأثير تعليمهم الجامعي على مساراتهم المهنية مؤكدين على أهمية المنهج الدراسي.

 حظى الطلاب بفرصة لتحسين مهاراتهم في محاكاة المقابلات التي أجرتها فرق الموارد البشرية في فارما أوفرسيز. كما تمت مراجعة سيرهم الذاتية وملفاتهم الشخصية على LinkedIn من فريق مؤسسة قادة الشباب.

 يعد يوم الإرشاد المهني في كلية الصيدلة شاهدًا على التفاني في توجيه الطلاب نحو مهن مجدية في صناعة الصيدلة.

 سيستمر الحدث القادم في استكشاف خيارات وظيفية إضافية في مهنة الصيدلة مما يثري فهم الطلاب للفرص المتنوعة المتاحة لهم.
