شراكة جامعة مصر الدولية مع أفري ساميت 2024

تفتخر جامعة مصر الدولية بشراكتها مع أفري ساميت 2024 التي عُقدت في الفترة من 2 إلى 3 نوفمبر 2024 وشملت العديد من المناقشات والمبادرات المبتكرة التي تهدف إلى تحسين الرعاية الصحية في أفريقيا. شارك أعضاء هيئة التدريس في جامعة مصر الدولية في جلسات النقاش بينما ساهم الطلاب في نجاح الحدث كمنظمين له.
ونتقدم بخالص الشكر إلى إدارة الشؤون التنظيمية المهنية (PRA) في دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، لتنظيم هذا الحدث الاستثنائي وإتاحة الفرصة للتعاون. تتطلع جامعة مصر الدولية إلى شراكات ومساهمات مستقبلية للنهوض بالرعاية الصحية في أفريقيا.

Combating Corruption: An Awareness-Raising Seminar

On Monday, October 21, 2024, Mr. Yasser Mustafa, a researcher and consultant in the field of capacity development of civil society organizations, gave a seminar organized by the Faculty of Al-Alsun and Mass Communication Community Service Committee on “How to Combat Corruption in the Light of Social Transformations and Moral Values”.

The seminar aligned with the 16th SDG goal that acknowledges the importance of anti-corruption as an institutional principle and with Egypt’s 2030 vision.

ندوة توعوية حول مكافحة الفساد

نظمت لجنة خدمة المجتمع بكلية الألسن والإعلام ندوة بعنوان “كيفية مكافحة الفساد في ظل التحولات الاجتماعية والقيم الأخلاقية” يوم الاثنين الموافق 21 أكتوبر 2024 ألقاها الأستاذ ياسر مصطفى الباحث والمستشار في مجال تنمية قدرات منظمات المجتمع المدني.
وجاءت الندوة تماشيًا مع الهدف السادس عشر من أهداف التنمية المستدامة الذي يؤكد على أهمية مكافحة الفساد كمبدأ مؤسسي ورؤية مصر 2030.

Faculty Development Seminar on Emerging Pharmaceutical Sciences

The Development, Awareness and Training Committee at the Faculty of Pharmacy hosted a two-day seminar on October 14th and 21st, 2024. The seminar was led by Dr. Abdulrahman Gamal, an MIU alumnus (Class of 2016) and current PhD candidate in Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Minnesota.

This seminar provided valuable peer learning opportunities, exploring trending pharmaceutical fields, including pharmacometrics, pharmacomicrobiomics, and pharmacogenomics. Faculty members and teaching assistants gained insights into cutting-edge advancements and the latest innovations in pharmaceutical research.

*ندوة تطوير أعضاء هيئة التدريس حول العلوم الصيدلانية الحديثة

نظمت لجنة تطوير أعضاء هيئة التدريس والتوعية والتدريب بكلية الصيدلة في جامعة مصر الدولية ندوة تطويرية على مدار يومين في 14 و21 أكتوبر 2024. وقد قاد الندوة الدكتور عبدالرحمن جمال، خريج جامعة مصر الدولية (دفعة 2016) وطالب دكتوراه في الصيدلة التجريبية والسريرية في جامعة مينيسوتا.قدمت الندوة فرص تعلم مشتركة قيمة، حيث استعرضت المجالات الصيدلانية الحديثة مثل الصيدلة الحسابية (فارماكومتريكس)، علم الميكروبيوم الصيدلاني (فارماكوميكروبيوميكس)، وعلم الوراثة الصيدلاني (فارماكوجينوميكس). وتمكن أعضاء هيئة التدريس والمعاونين من اكتساب رؤى حول آخر التطورات والابتكارات في مجال البحث الصيدلاني

Department of Al-Alsun Integrates AI in Phonetics in Practice Course

On Sunday 20th of October 2024, Al-Alsun Department has incorporated AI technology into the “Phonetics in Practice” course. Students learnt to identify specific English sounds in AI generated content, enhancing their practical skills and theoretical understanding of English sounds and patterns. This initiative marks an exciting development in the use of AI for language education and comes in alignment with the department’s commitment to provide its students with interactive, engaging learning experiences.

قسم الألسن يستخدم الذكاء الاصطناعي في مقرر الصوتيات

يوم الأحد 20 أكتوبر 2024 قام قسم الألسن باستخدام تقنية الذكاء الاصطناعي في مقرر “الصوتيات” حيث تعلم الطلاب التعرف على أصوات إنجليزية محددة في المحتوى الذي تم إنشاؤه بواسطة الذكاء الاصطناعي مما عزز مهاراتهم العملية وفهمهم النظري لأصوات اللغة الإنجليزية. تؤكد هذه المبادرة على التزام القسم بتقديم تجربة تعليمية تفاعلية للطلاب.

MIU Achieves Recognition in QS Arab University Ranking 2025

Misr International University (MIU) has been ranked 171-180 among 246 Arab universities in the QS Arab University Rankings 2025. The ranking, which assessed universities across 20 Arab countries, considered factors including academic reputation, international research network, faculty-student ratio, and research impact.

The announcement was made during the annual QS Arab Forum held in Amman, Jordan, from October 16-17, 2024. Prof. Dr. Mahassen Muhammad Farghaly, Acting President of MIU, represented the university at the event. This recognition is a testament to MIU’s dedication to providing high-quality education and fostering a vibrant research environment.

للجامعات العربية 2025 QS ترتيب جامعة مصر الدولية في تصنيف

حصلت جامعة مصر الدولية على المركز 171-180 من بين 246 جامعة عربية في تصنيفات QS للجامعات العربية لعام 2025. وشمل التصنيف 20 دولة عربية وأخذ في الاعتبار عوامل تشمل السمعة الأكاديمية وشبكة البحث الدولية ونسبة أعضاء هيئة التدريس إلى الطلاب وتأثير البحوث.

جاء هذا الإعلان خلال منتدى QS العربي السنوي الذي عقد في عمان، الأردن في الفترة من 16 إلى 17 أكتوبر 2024. ومثلت جامعة مصر الدولية في هذا الحدث أ.د. محاسن محمد فرغلي القائم بأعمال رئيس الجامعة.

يعد هذا الاعتراف بمثابة شهادة على تفاني جامعة مصر الدولية في توفير تعليم عالي الجودة وتعزيز البيئة البحثية.

MIU Faculty of Pharmacy Hosts Dr. Rania El Hossary’s Lecture on Drugs Registry

On October 16, 2024, the Faculty of Pharmacy at MIU had the privilege of hosting Dr. Rania El Hossary, the esteemed Manager of the Stability Department at the Egyptian Drug Authority.

Dr. El Hossary conducted an engaging lecture for second-year PharmD Clinical students as part of the Pharmacy Legislation and Professional Ethics course. She provided valuable insights into the intricate process of medicine registry, guiding students through the various steps involved in registering drugs in Egypt.

She emphasized the importance of adhering to strict quality standards and regulatory requirements to ensure the safety and efficacy of pharmaceutical products. The visit of Dr. Rania El Hossary offered students a unique opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge from a leading authority in the pharmaceutical industry.

كلية الصيدلة في جامعة مصر الدولية تستضيف محاضرة للدكتورة رانيا الحصري عن تسجيل الأدوية

في 16 أكتوبر 2024 تشرفت كلية الصيدلة بجامعة مصر الدولية باستضافة الدكتورة رانيا الحصري، مديرة قسم الثباتية بالهيئة المصرية للدواء.
قدمت الدكتورة الحصري محاضرة مميزة لطلاب السنة الثانية من برنامج PharmD Clinical كجزء من مادة التشريعات الصيدلية وأخلاقيات المهنة. تناولت المحاضرة خطوات عملية تسجيل الأدوية في مصر حيث شاركت بخبراتها الواسعة في هذا المجال.
وأكدت الدكتورة الحصري على أهمية الالتزام بمعايير الجودة الصارمة والمتطلبات التنظيمية لضمان سلامة وفعالية المنتجات الدوائية. كانت هذه الزيارة فرصة ثمينة للطلاب لاكتساب معرفة مباشرة من إحدى الخبراء البارزين في مجال صناعة الأدوية.

Successful Influenza Awareness and Vaccination Campaign at the Faculty of Pharmacy

The Faculty of Pharmacy organized a successful initiative in partnership with DIMAS students and Abbott Pharmaceuticals to raise awareness about influenza and its vaccination. This campus event occurred on Monday, October 14, 2024, and Tuesday, October 15, 2024, aiming to enlighten faculty members and students on influenza, treatment options, management strategies and the importance of prevention through vaccination.

During the event, Abbott Pharmaceuticals facilitated the administration of the “Influvac Tetra” flu vaccine by medical experts on-site, along with offering it for purchase at a discounted rate. The campaign ended with a total of 113 individuals, including staff members and students, receiving the vaccine.

نجحت كلية الصيدلة بتنظيم حدث بالتعاون مع الطلاب المشاركين في النشاط الطلابي دايماس وشركة أبوت للأدوية لنشر الوعي حول مرض الإنفلونزا والتطعيم.

أقيم هذا الحدث في الحرم الجامعي يوم الاثنين الموافق 14 أكتوبر 2024 ويوم الثلاثاء الموافق 15 أكتوبر 2024 وكان الهدف الرئيسي منه توعية أعضاء هيئة التدريس والطلاب حول الإنفلونزا وطرق علاجها والوقاية منها عن طريق التطعيم.
وقدمت شركة أبوت للأدوية الفرصة لتلقي لقاح “أنفلوفاك تيترا” داخل الحرم الجامعي أو لشرائه بسعر مخفض.
تم تطعيم 113 من أعضاء هيئة التدريس والطلاب بحلول نهاية اليوم الثاني.

MIU Pharmacy Students Join Hospice Annual Marathon Day

On the Hospice Annual Marathon Day, students from the Faculty of Pharmacy along with students from DIMAS club and participants from various universities took part in a 3 KM race held in El-Zamalek at El-Nahr Garden organized by Hospice Egypt, an organization committed to offering compassionate care for individuals nearing the end of their lives. Saged Ali, a second-year Pharmacy student, achieved third place among all university participants in the Marathon.

MIU was honored for its commitment to making a difference in the community, highlighting critical healthcare issues and raising awareness about the importance of compassionate end-of-life care.

طلاب كلية الصيدلة في يوم الماراثون السنوي

في يوم الجمعة الموافق 11 أكتوبر شارك 11 من طلاب كلية الصيدلة بالاشتراك مع الطلاب الملتحقين بالنشاط الطلابي دايماس في يوم الماراثون السنوي لمؤسسة هوسبيس مصر التي تهدف لدعم المرضى في المراحل الأخيرة. شارك طلاب الكلية مع طلاب من الجامعات الأخرى في ماراثون بطول 3 كيلومترات أقيم بحديقة النهر بالزمالك. وفاز الطالب بالفرقة الثانية ساجد علي بالمركز الثالث كما تم تكريم كلية الصيدلة على تعاونها المستمر مع هوسبيس مصر.

MIU’s Faculty of Pharmacy Hosts Professional Communication Workshop

On September 9th and 10th 2024, the Faculty of Pharmacy at Misr International University hosted a two-day workshop titled “CommuniLead: Mastering Professional Communication for Academic Leadership.” Led by distinguished leadership expert Professor Maha Abo Shady, Head of Microbiology and Immunology Department and Vice-Manager of the Quality Assurance and Training Centre at Al-Azhar University, the workshop delved into essential topics such as leadership competencies, self-leadership strategies and effective communication techniques.

ورشة عمل حول التواصل المهني

في يومي 9 و10 سبتمبر 2024 استضافت كلية الصيدلة بجامعة مصر الدولية ورشة عمل لمدة يومين بعنوان “إتقان التواصل المهني للقيادة الأكاديمية” قدمتها الخبيرة المتميزة في مجال القيادة الأستاذة الدكتورة مها أبو شادي، رئيس قسم الميكروبيولوجي والمناعة ونائب مدير مركز ضمان الجودة والتدريب بجامعة الأزهر. وتناولت الورشة موضوعات أساسية مثل مهارات القيادة واستراتيجيات القيادة الذاتية وأسس التواصل المهني.

Successful Completion of the MIU-GMU Student Exchange Program in Summer 2024

Misr International University (MIU) and Gulf Medical University (GMU) in Ajman, UAE have successfully partnered.

Two GMU students recently completed oncology clinical pharmacy rotations at the International Medical Center in Cairo, Egypt, from March 17th to April 18th, 2024, and two MIU students completed adult medicine rotations at Thumbay University Hospital in Ajman from July 1st to July 26th, 2024.

This exchange program not only enhanced the educational experience of our students but also fostered cross-cultural collaboration and professional development. 

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to making this initiative a success and look forward to future collaborative opportunities.

نجاح برنامج التبادل الطلابي بين جامعة مصر الدولية وجامعة الخليج الطبية لصيف 2024

يسعدنا أن نعلن عن نجاح تنفيذ برنامج التعاون الدولي بين جامعة مصر الدولية (MIU) وجامعة الخليج الطبية (GMU) في عجمان، الإمارات العربية المتحدة.
أكمل اثنان من طلاب جامعة الخليج الطبية مؤخرًا دورات الصيدلة السريرية للأورام في المركز الطبي الدولي في القاهرة، مصر، في الفترة من 17 مارس إلى 18 أبريل 2024، وأكمل اثنان من طلاب جامعة الخليج الطبية دورات طب البالغين في مستشفى جامعة ثومباي في عجمان في الفترة من 1 يوليو إلى 26 يوليو 2024.
عزز برنامج التبادل الخبرة التعليمية لطلابنا وعزز أيضًا التعاون بين الثقافات والتطوير المهني.
