Prof. Rowena Schwartz, Pharm D, BCOP is visiting the Faculty of Pharmacy, MIU, from February 24th to March 3rd, 2020. During her visit, Dr Schwartz will be giving lectures to 5th year Pharmacy students on oncologic diseases and their proper pharmacotherapeutic approaches. The lectures will also include explanation of the supportive care required for cancer patients.

Professor Christian Zimmermann Visit
Architecture Professor Christian Zimmermann from Lucerne University for Applied Sciences will be visiting MIU for two weeks in April.
Professor Zimmermann is visiting MIU as part of an ongoing agreement between the Architecture Department and Lucerne University. He will see students from the third-year design studio from April 11th to 19th, reviewing their work and proposals.
Students are proposing a large park overlooking Tahrir square in which they propose 2-3 office buildings of well known companies. Their challenge is to establish a strong recreational space for the public while maintaining a sense of privacy and identity for those companies.
During this period, Professor Zimmermann will have the chance to see Cairo along with its major landmarks. This is his first visit to both the country and MIU and the department will make sure to make his stay as enjoyable as possible.
