بالتعاون مع شركة فودافون العالمية للحلول _VOIS يسر كلية العلوم والفنون الهندسية – قسم الإلكترونيات والإتصالات وكلية الحاسبات و المعلومات استضافة إيهاب رفعت مدير أول أمن الشركات في ندوة بعنوان “الأمن السيبراني: الوعي المعرفي” يوم الأربعاء الموافق 6 ديسمبر 2023.

سلط المتحدث الضوء حول التهديدات السيبرانية المتطورة بأمثلة واقعية للهجمات الإلكترونية للتأكيد على أهمية تدابير الأمن السيبراني. وقد أوضحت الندوة موقف الأمن السيبراني ضمن الإطار العام لإدارة المخاطر. كما سلطت المحاضرة الضوء على مثلث الحماية الذي تنفذه الشركات متعددة الجنسيات لتأمين وحماية أصولها الحيوية والدور التكاملي للعوامل البشرية داخل هذا المثلث عززت الندوة من معرفة المشاركين في مجال الأمن السيبراني وحسنت من وعيهم الوظيفي.

In collaboration with _VOIS Vodafone International Solutions, the Faculty of Engineering Sciences & Arts (ECE Department) and the Faculty of Computer Science were pleased to host Ehab Rafaat, Corporate Security Senior Manager, for a session on Cyber Security: Cognitive Awareness on Wednesday, 6th of December 2023.

The distinguished speaker shared insights about the evolving cyber threats and highlighted real-life examples of cyberattacks to emphasize the significance of cybersecurity measures. During the session, he discussed the position of Cybersecurity within the overall Risk Management framework. Also, the session shed light on the protection triangle implemented by multinational companies to secure and protect their critical assets, highlighting the integral role of human factors within this triangle.

The session helped participants gain insightful knowledge and allowed them to improve their career awareness in cybersecurity.

Pursuant to its endeavor to bring the most recent advancements in the field of telecommunications to the Egyptian telecom community, the Department of Electronics and Communications, Faculty of Engineering, Misr International University is proud to host the world-renowned scholar Prof. Abbas Omar from the University of Magdeburg, Germany to offer two webinars on Monday, September 12, 2022. The first webinar is about “Understanding Quantum Computing”, from 10:00 – 11:30 am, and the second tackles “Wave-Matter Interaction at Millimeter –Wave Frequencies”, from 01:30 – 03:00 pm.

في إطار تشجيع جامعة مصر الدولية للطلاب على الالتحاق بالأنشطة الرياضية المختلفة، نظم مكتب إدارة النشاط الرياضي بطولة كرة قدم للطلبة والتي شارك فيها 44 فريقًا (كل فريق مكون من 8 لاعبين) خلال الفترة من 28 نوفمبر 2022 حتى 22 مايو 2023.
وأبدى الطلاب إعجابهم بالمواهب المذهلة لزملائهم واستمتعوا بالمباريات، حيث فاز الفريق الأول “Aliens” (من كلية العلوم والفنون الهندسية – قسم الالكترونيات والاتصالات وكلية الصيدلة) بكأس المركز الأول والميداليات ذهبية، بينما فاز الفريق الثاني “Tahgesh” (من كلية إدارة الأعمال وكلية علوم الحاسب الآلي) بكأس المركز الثاني والميداليات الفضية.

As Misr International University encourages the students to enroll in different athletic activities, the Sports Activities Office organized a football tournament for 44 MIU teams (each team of 8 players) during the period from the 28th of November 2022 till the 22nd of May 2023.

The students were thrilled to see the amazing talents of their colleagues and enjoyed the games. The team Aliens (comprised of students from the Faculty of Engineering Sciences & Arts- Electronics & Communications Department and the Faculty of Pharmacy) won the first-place cup and gold medals, while the team Tahgesh (comprised of students from the Faculty of Business Administration and the Faculty of Computer Science) won the second-place cup and silver medals.
