تحت رعاية أ.د/ منصور حسن رئيس الجامعة و أ.د/ فاطمة حسن نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون الدراسات العليا والبحوث بفندق (سي جال) بالغردقة بالتعاون مع جامعة مصر الدولية وجامعة ( Prais Sud) بفرنسا بحضور لفيف من العلماء والباحثين من مختلف الجامعات المصرية والأوربية والعربية.
قامت أ.د/ محاسن محمد فرغلي نائب رئيس جامعة مصر الدولية لخدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة بإلقاء كلمة في إفتتاح المؤتمر توضح بها دور جامعة مصر الدولية في تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة ورؤية مصر 2030 و الإهتمام بوصول الجامعة إلى مراكز متقدمة في التصنيفات الدولية.
ناقشت فاعليات المؤتمر الدولي للعلوم المتقدمة إستخدام التطبيقات (النانومترية) في تنقية وتحلية المياه، وتخزين الطاقة ، وفي علاج أمراض السرطان .شاركت جامعة مصر الدولية بعدد ستة أبحاث قام بتقديمها أعضاء هيئة التدريس والعيئة المعاونة بكلا من كلية طب الفم والأسنان وكلية الصيدلة.

Clinical Research Workshop Helps Investigators Get their Researches off the Ground
In cooperation with Egyptian Knowledge Bank, a workshop was held on Thursday 15th of March 2018 entitled “Clinical Research Methodology” introduced by Dr. Lea Gagnon, Editorial Development Advisor, Ph.D. from the University of Montreal. The objectives of the workshop were to formulate a concise and impactful research question, understand the most common epidemiological measures, strategically select and sample enough study participants to achieve high-power, calculate, report and interpret different effect sizes, and choose the best study design according to your study aim. The instructor was rated excellent by (66.66%) of the participants, very good by (27.77%), and good by (5.55%). The evaluation of the course was excellent by (61.11%), and very good by (38.88%).
Egyptian Knowledge Bank Workshop
The Staff Development Committee of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine organized an Egyptian Knowledge Bank Workshop on Thursday 30 March 2017. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Mahmoud Dawood. A Total of 22 staff members and teaching assistants attended the workshop. The focus of the workshop was an introduction to the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, its purpose and how to use it as well as how to retrieve published papers and how to write references .The recommendations were to increase the number of workshops and to add a practical part. 68.2% of the attendees were highly satisfied with the workshop and 31.2% were satisfied.
Accessing Taylors and Francis
A workshop entitled “Accessing Taylors and Francis” was organized by the University Community Services and Environmental Affairs Committee and held in cooperation with The Egyptian Knowledge Bank on Tuesday the 10th of September 2019. It was introduced by Mr. Yasser Mahmoud Hussein Asad, Client Experience Specialist – Middle East & North Africa. It presented an overview of Taylor and Francis, information about T&F access through the Egyptian Knowledge Bank (EKB) and methods of getting the best of the platform TandFonline.com as well as the best of the new librarian website.
The workshop was attended by the Head of MIU Libraries, staff members as well as teaching assistants from faculties of Pharmacy, Computer Science and Engineering.
The instructor was rated excellent by 12.5% of the participants, very good by 75% and good by 12.5%.
Systematic Review Workshop is Crowned with Remarkable Success “Third Day Workshop”
On Saturday the 17 of March 2018 a workshop was held in collaboration between Misr International University and The National Research Center. The workshop entitled “Essential Steps of a High Quality Systematic Review of Intervention” was introduced by Assoc. Prof. Hend Salah, Orthodontic and Pediatric Dentistry, National Research Center, Cochrane Oral Health Group Reviewer. Members and teaching assistants from both Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine and faculty of Pharmacy – MIU participated in this workshop which summarized the essentials of conducting a scientific systematic review. The instructor was rated excellent by 100% of the attendees. The workshop was rated excellent by 90 % of the participants and very good by 10%. The attendees asked for more lectures and more time to cover this interesting topic.
A Workshop to Put a Spurt on Your Research
Versity In collaboration with the National Research Center, Misr International University organized a tailored three-day workshop for staff members and teaching assistants entitled: Essential Steps of a High Quality Systematic Review of Intervention. The workshop started on Saturday March 3rd 2018 and was given by Assoc. Prof. Hend Salah, Orthodontic and Pediatric Dentistry, National Research Center, Cochrane Oral Health Group Reviewer. It was attended by twelve participants from the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine and the faculty of Pharmacy – MIU. The instructor was rated excellent by 91.7% of the attendees and very good by 8.3%. The workshop was rated excellent by 75% of the participants, very good (16.7%) and rated good by 8.3% of the attendees.
MIU & BSU Organize a Joint Workshop: Towards a Better Understanding of Impact Ranking 2020
On Monday the 26th of October 2020, the International Ranking Awareness and Data Collection Committee held a workshop entitled “Towards a Better Understanding of Impact Ranking 2020”, jointly organized by MIU and BSU.
The keynote speaker was Associate Prof. Samaa EL Dek, Head of the Department of Materials Science and Nanotechnology, and Director of the International Classification Office, at Beni Suef University.
The workshop aimed to provide a comparison and review of research work, and discuss the annual MIU achievement reports tackling Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’S) 2020.
Guidance and follow up was performed using Scopus, Mendeley and Scival.
Members of MIU International Ranking Committee attended the workshop.




ورشة عمل للتصنيف الدولي للجامعة
برئاسة الأستاذ الدكتور نائب رئيس مجلس الأمناء تم عقد ورشة عمل يوم الأربعاء الموافق 13/2/2019 قامت بها الدكتورة سماء الدق رئيس قسم علوم المواد وتكنولوجيا النانو ومدير مكتب التصنيف الدولي بجامعة بني سويف وبحضور أعضاء لجنة التصنيف الدولي بالجامعة بغرض وضع خطة استراتيجية للعمل تقوم بها الجامعة خلال العام الأكاديمي 2018/2019 والتي تؤدي لوصول الجامعة لمركز مرموق في التصنيفات الدولية المختلفة.
وتم توزيع استبيانات لتقيم ورشة العمل لجميع الحاضرين وكانت نتائج التقييم 44.5% ممتاز، 55.5% جيد جداً.

Members and teaching assistants from both Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine and faculty of Pharmacy – MIU continued their participation in this workshop. The instructor was rated excellent by 100% of the attendees. The workshop was rated excellent by 83.3% of the participants and very good (16.7%). The attendees asked for more lectures and more time to cover this interesting topic.
Publications Strategies Workshop Helps MIU Staff Shine in Global Scientific Community
Researches off the Ground
On Monday 22nd of October, 2018, a workshop entitled “Publications Strategies” was organized by the University Community Services and Environmental Affairs Committee
” In cooperation with Egyptian Knowledge Bank. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Lea Gagnon, Editorial Development Advisor, Ph.D. from the University of Montreal. It clarified the idea that that editors of journals focus on suitability manuscripts and high quality of the papers. The details of writing the cover letter was explained including: manuscript introduction, study importance, findings, and relevance and suitability. Faculty members as well as teaching assistants from all faculties attended the workshop.
The instructor was rated excellent by 73.3% of the participants, very good by 26.7%.
