Faculty of Pharmacy Students Engage in Educational and Community Activities in Karamous Village

The Faculty of Pharmacy at Misr International University organized a successful field visit to Karamous village in Sharqia Governorate on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. This visit was conducted in coordination with the Governorate’s Population Unit and the Regional Authority for Tourism Promotion. Fifteen students participated in the visit, engaging in various educational and community activities.

During the visit, students visited the local papyrus farms and participated in workshops on papyrus paper making. They also conducted an informative awareness session on the use of medicinal plants, discussing their benefits, potential adulteration, contraindications, and side effects under the supervision of the Faculty members.

In a gesture of goodwill, the students distributed medicinal herbs as gifts to the villagers, fostering a sense of community service.

زيارة ميدانية لكلية الصيدلة بجامعة مصر الدولية لقرية القراموس

قامت كلية الصيدلة بجامعة مصر الدولية بزيارة ميدانية لقرية القراموس مركز أبو كبير بمحافظة الشرقية في يوم الثلاثاء الموافق ٢١ مايو ٢٠٢٤ بالتنسيق مع وحدة السكان بالمحافظة وكذلك الهيئة الإقليمية لتنشيط السياحة. شارك بالزيارة 15 طالب وطالبة من الكلية وتضمنت الأنشطة زيارة مزارع البردي، وكذلك ورش صناعة أوراق البردي. وقام الطلاب بعمل نشاط توعوي عن استخدام النباتات والأعشاب الطبية وطرق غشها وأعراضها الجانبية تحت إشراف أعضاء هيئة التدريس والهيئة المعاونة بالكلية، كما قاموا بتوزيع بعض الأعشاب الطبية كهدايا لأبناء القرية.

Faculty of Pharmacy and DIMAS Students Host Breast Cancer Awareness Session

On April 24, students from the Faculty of Pharmacy (Years 4 and 5) and members from the DIMAS student club gave a breast cancer awareness session to 40 women from Abu Kabir Center.

The main aim of the session was to raise awareness about breast cancer and the resources available to patients in need. It also focused on the services provided by the Hospice Foundation, which offers comprehensive support to cancer patients, including medical care, psychological counseling and financial assistance.

Nutrition Insights for Student Well-being: Faculty of Pharmacy Hosts Nutrition Session with Dr. Arwa Badr Elden

Dr. Arwa, renowned for her expertise as a former clinical nutrition consultant and lecturer at the College of Applied Sciences, King Saud University, shared invaluable insights tailored to the student community.

During the session, students explored the intricate relationship between nutrition and overall well-being, gaining holistic perspectives relevant to their academic and personal lives. This initiative reflects the Faculty’s ongoing commitment to promoting health awareness and well-being among its students.


تعزيز الوعي الصحي: كلية الصيدلة تنظم محاضرة توعوية عن التغذية السليمة لطلبة الجامعات مع الدكتورة أروى بدرالدين


في يوم الاثنين الموافق 4 مارس 2024 نظمت كلية الصيدلة محاضرة توعوية عن التغذية السليمة لطلاب الجامعات حاضرت بها د. أروى بدر الدين .
د. أروى بدر الدين هي استشارية تغذية سريرية ومحاضرة في كلية العلوم التطبيقية بجامعة الملك سعود. أثناء المحاضرة تعرف الطلاب على العلاقة بين التغذية والصحة العامة. وتعكس هذه المبادرة التزام الكلية الدائم بتعزيز وعي الطلاب الصحي .

Faculty of Business Administration conducted an interactive business development workshop

The purpose was to give students insights into the process of identifying potential customers to convert them into paying ones to achieve sustainable sales. Students applied the above concept to a real company, Neon Padel, by turning their ideas into reels and post designs.

في 7 مارس 2024 أقام قسم التسويق بكلية إدارة الأعمال ورشة عمل حول عملية تحديد العملاء المحتملين لتحقيق مبيعات مستدامة وذلك من خلال التطبيق على دراسة حالة حقيقية وهي شركة. Neon Padel
وفي نهاية ورشة العمل قام الطلاب بتحويل أفكارهم إلى تصميمات لمنشورات ومقاطع دعائية.

Enhancing Cosmeceutical Expertise: Applied Professional Cosmeceutical Workshop

The Faculty of Pharmacy’s Continuing Education Committee recently organized the “Applied Professional Cosmeceutical Workshop” for senior students and graduates. This four-day workshop, held from January 21 to January 31, 2024, aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and professional skills in the cosmeceutical field.

Dr. Mahmoud El Sonbaty, a lecturer of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology at Al-Azhar University and a Community Pharmacy Training Consultant, led the workshop.

During the event, 18 participants were introduced to various cosmeceutical products and learned effective counselling and dispensing techniques for different consumers and patients.

The workshop culminated in a final presentation and project, allowing participants to showcase the new knowledge and skills they have acquired. This comprehensive learning experience not only enriched their professional expertise but also prepared them for real-world applications in the cosmeceutical industry.

ورشة عمل في مجال المستحضرات التجميلية لتعزيز مهارات طلاب وخريجي كلية الصيدلة

نظمت لجنة التعليم المستمر بكلية الصيدلة ورشة عمل بعنوان “الورشة المهنية التطبيقية عن مستحضرات التجميل” لطلبة الفرقة النهائية وخريجي الكلية. هدفت الورشة إلى تعزيز معارف المشاركين ومهاراتهم المهنية في مجال مستحضرات التجميل.

أدار الورشة الدكتور “محمود السنباطي” مدرس الصيدلانيات والتكنولوجيا الصيدلية بجامعة الأزهر واستشاري تدريب صيادلة الصيدليات المجتمعية.

وخلال ورشة العمل التي استمرت لمدة أربعة أيام، تعرف 18 مشاركًا على المنتجات التجميلية المختلفة وتقديم الاستشارات الفعالة وكيفية وصف المنتجات لمختلف المستهلكين والمرضى.

وفي اليوم الأخير من ورشة العمل، أتيحت الفرصة لجميع المشاركين لعرض ما تعلموه من خلال تقديم عرض تقديمي شامل. وقد أتاح لهم ذلك إظهار المعارف والمهارات التي اكتسبوها خلال ورشة العمل.

MENA Training Al-Alsun Students

Within the framework of the commitment of the Department of Al-Alsun, Faculty of Al-Alsun and Mass Communication, to developing the capabilities of its students and preparing them for the labor market, the Department, in collaboration with the Middle East News Agency (MENA), organized a 30-hour online intensive training program for 32 students during the period from 20 to 31 August 2023, under the title “International Organizations Translation.”

Ms. Sahar Nuhi, a translation trainer at MENA, undertook the task of training the participants on the latest methods and techniques in the field of translation, discussing various rules of accurately conveying meaning.

تدريب وكالة أنباء الشرق الأوسط لطلاب قسم الألسن

في إطار حرص قسم الألسن على تنمية قدرات الطلاب وتأهيلهم لسوق العمل نظم قسم الألسن بالتعاون مع وكالة أنباء الشرق الأوسط برنامج تدريب مدته 30 ساعة لـ32 طالبًا خلال الفترة من 20 إلى 31 أغسطس 2023، تحت عنوان “ترجمة المنظمات الدولية”.
تولّت الأستاذة سحر نوحي مدرب الترجمة في وكالة أنباء الشرق الأوسط مهمة تدريب الطلاب على أحدث الأساليب والتقنيات في مجال الترجمة وتحدثت عن أهمية الدقة في نقل المعنى.

Al-Alsun Students at Arabize Summer 2023 Internship

Arabize Localization Company hosted four of the Department of Al-Alsun outstanding students from the 9th to the 19th of July 2023 as part of its Summer 2023 internship program. Students underwent comprehensive training in various aspects of localization and translation, including software localization, website localization, and document translation. At the end of the internship, students received certificates of completion.

Arabize internship is an invaluable learning experience for aspiring language professionals aiming to excel in the localization job market.

استضافت شركة أرابيز الرائدة في مجال المحتوى أربع طالبات من قسم الألسن في برنامج تدريب صيفي مدته أسبوعين. خلال البرنامج، حصلت الطالبات على تدريب شامل في مختلف جوانب الترجمة والتوطين، بما في ذلك توطين البرامج والمواقع الإلكترونية وترجمة المستندات. وقد حصلت الطالبات في نهاية فترة التدريب على شهادات إتمام البرنامج.
يعتبر التدريب لدى شركة “آرابيز” تجربة تعلم فريدة لكل المهتمين بالعمل في مجال اللغات والترجمة، ويساعدهم على التفوق في سوق العمل في مجال التوطين.

Al-Alsun Department Collaborates with Pronto FM to Prepare the Next Generation of Dubbing Artists

Pronto FM recently hosted a 30-hour training program for 33 Al-Alsun senior students. The program started on July 4, 2023, and focused on voice-over and dubbing techniques and was led by renowned Disney voice-actor Mostafa Basuney.

Throughout the program, the students received comprehensive training in script analysis, character development, lip-syncing, and the difference between voice acting and dubbing. The practical training allowed the students to develop their skills and gain a deeper understanding of the industry.

At the end of the program, the students received certificates of completion and were praised for their exceptional performance by Basuney and the team at Pronto FM Studios.

قسم الألسن يتعاون مع Pronto FM لإعداد الجيل القادم من فناني الدبلجة

استضافت أستوديوهات Pronto FM 33 طالبًا من طلاب السنة النهائية بالألسن لحضور برنامجًا تدريبيًا مدته 30 ساعة بداية من 4 يوليو 2023، وركز التدريب على تعريف الطلاب بتقنيات التعليق الصوتي والدبلجة، وقد أدار ورش العمل مصطفى بسيوني المعلق الصوتي الشهير لدى ديزني.
خلال البرنامج، تلقى الطلاب تدريبًا شاملاً في تحليل النص، وتطوير الشخصية، والفرق بين التمثيل الصوتي والدبلجة. سمح التدريب العملي للطلاب بتطوير مهاراتهم واكتساب فهم أعمق لهذه الصناعة.
وفي نهاية البرنامج، حصل الطلاب على شهادات إتمام البرنامج، وأشاد مصطفى بسيوني وفريق استوديوهات Pronto FM بأدائهم الاستثنائي.

Pharmacy Students Participate in the Heart Failure Awareness Campaign ‘Global Cardiology’

Under the guidance of MIU’s Community Service Committee, Pharmacy students recently participated in the heart failure awareness campaign “Global Cardiology”, organized by the European Society of Cardiology. This year’s campaign, held under the supervision of Egyptian Society of Cardiology, adopted the theme “Discover the Undiscovered: Find Me.”

The campaign aimed to educate patients about the symptoms of heart failure and the importance of maintaining a healthy heart by identifying both known and unknown symptoms and diseases. Twenty-three fourth and fifth-year pharmacy students participated in the initiative. They designed informative posters for patients and created simulation videos to demonstrate effective methods of raising awareness.

Throughout the campaign, which ran from April 18th to May 8th, 2024, students actively engaged with patients at Kasr Al-Ainy Hospital (Cairo University), Al-Nas Hospital, and the National Heart Institute.

طلاب كلية الصيدلة يشاركون في حملة “القلب العالمي” للتوعية بمخاطر قصور القلب

تحت إشراف لجنة الخدمة المجتمعية بجامعة مصر الدولية، شارك طلاب كلية الصيدلة مؤخرًا في حملة “القلب العالمي” للتوعية بمخاطر قصور القلب، التي تنظمها الجمعية الأوروبية لأمراض القلب. كان شعار الحملة هذا العام “اكتشف غير المكتشف: اعثر عليّ” وتم تنظيمها بالتعاون مع الجمعية المصرية لأمراض القلب.
تهدف الحملة إلى تثقيف المرضى بشأن أعراض قصور القلب وأهمية الحفاظ على صحة القلب من خلال تحديد الأعراض والأمراض المعروفة وغير المعروفة. شارك في المبادرة ثلاثة وعشرون طالبًا وطالبة من الفرقتين الرابعة والخامسة بكلية الصيدلة، حيث قاموا بتصميم ملصقات علمية للمرضى وإنشاء مقاطع فيديو تساعد على رفع مستوى الوعي.
استمرت الحملة من يوم الخميس الموافق 18 أبريل حتى يوم الأربعاء الموافق 8 مايو وشملت مرضى من مستشفى القصر العيني – جامعة القاهرة، ومستشفى الناس والمعهد القومي للقلب.
