“From Line to Design” … Before you enter Architecture School

About the course:

For high-schoolers (ages 15-18), who are thriving to find their passion.

Objective:

• Helps you explore your talents and develops your skills.
• Orient high-schoolers before applying to architecture schools through an introductory course to architecture and design.

Intended Learning Outcomes (ILO’s):

• Develop imaginative and imaging skills.
• Provide a theoretical review about architecture as a discipline.
• Identify famous architects and buildings.
• Endorse freehand sketching and drawing abilities.
• Practice one-point and two-point perspective.
• Exercise the effect of shade and shadow on forms.
• Experience the human scale and its proportions.
• Practice basic architecture drawings.
