Learning Development Center
Purpose
The Learning Development Center is responsible for formulating university-wide strategies, policies and regulations that promote teaching excellence, staff development and student academic success. It designs frameworks for Faculty training, curriculum enhancement and student learning support, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and international quality standards.
Implementation of these strategies is carried out through Academic Advising Centers, Education and Student Affairs Council and the Research Guidance Center, which deliver direct services such as academic guidance, mentoring, tutoring, skills workshops and early intervention programs for students in need of support.
Together, they foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional growth and active learning across the university.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop university-wide strategies, policies and regulations to promote the quality of teaching and learning.
- Design frameworks for Faculty training, curriculum development and academic support programs.
- Promote innovation in pedagogy, digital learning and assessment methods.
- Build institutional capacity for staff development, research advancement and leadership growth.
- Ensure alignment between learning support services and institutional strategic goals.
- Monitor students’ academic performance data, evaluate service effectiveness and recommend continuous improvement actions based on evidence.
