International Ranking and Sustainability Committee
Purpose
The International Ranking and Sustainability Committee aims to strengthen the university’s global and regional standing by implementing data-driven strategies for academic excellence, research impact and institutional visibility. The Committee also integrates sustainability principles across teaching, research, and community engagement, ensuring alignment with national priorities and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, verify, and analyze institutional data required for international and regional university rankings.
- Benchmark university performance against peer and aspirational institutions to identify areas for improvement.
- Advise university leadership and academic units on strategies to enhance research output, teaching quality and global reputation.
- Strengthen international visibility through Faculty recognition, research citations, collaborations and strategic partnerships.
- Develop, coordinate, and monitor sustainability initiatives integrated into curricula, research, campus operations and community service.
- Prepare and publish sustainability reports, ensuring alignment with global frameworks such as the SDGs and contributing to sustainability-related rankings and ratings.
- Collaborate with relevant units such as Facilities Management and Student Affairs to enhance energy efficiency, waste management, water conservation, and green campus initiatives.
