Tenth Book Fair -Misr International University

The Department of Libraries at Misr International University organized the 10th Book Fair, held on campus, in the presence of the guest of honor, Mr. Yasser Othman, President of the Egyptian Association of Libraries. The fair was held from Sunday, March 6, till Thursday, March 10, 2022.

Various publishing houses participated: Diwan Library, Don Library, Egyptian Association of Libraries, Bakkah for Information Technology, Dar Al-Ahram for Distribution, Academia Library Arts Library (Soor Al-Azbakiya), Misr International University Library and University Book Center.

A variety of books, recent publications in various fields, encyclopedias, and scientific references were available at discounted prices. The fair was a chance for faculty members to select books to be included in MIU library.

The Department of Libraries conducted a survey to evaluate the effectiveness of the fair in meeting the needs of students and faculty members. The results showed that the fair was successful and that both students and faculty members were satisfied with the updated way of exhibiting the books and the discounts provided by publishers.
