Successful Influenza Awareness and Vaccination Campaign at the Faculty of Pharmacy

The Faculty of Pharmacy organized a successful initiative in partnership with DIMAS students and Abbott Pharmaceuticals to raise awareness about influenza and its vaccination. This campus event occurred on Monday, October 6, 2025, and Tuesday, October 7, 2025, aiming to enlighten faculty members and students on influenza, treatment options, management strategies and the importance of prevention through vaccination.

During the event, Abbott Pharmaceuticals facilitated the administration of the “Influvac Tri” flu vaccine by medical experts on-site, along with offering it for purchase at a discounted rate. The campaign ended with a total of 138 individuals, including staff members and students, receiving the vaccine.

أقيم هذا الحدث في الحرم الجامعي يوم الاثنين الموافق 6 أكتوبر 5202 ويوم الثلاثاء الموافق 7 أكتوبر5 202 وكان الهدف الرئيسي منه توعية أعضاء هيئة التدريس والطلاب حول الإنفلونزا وطرق علاجها والوقاية منها عن طريق التطعيم.
وقدمت شركة أبوت للأدوية الفرصة لتلقي لقاح “أنفلوفاك تراي” داخل الحرم الجامعي أو لشرائه بسعر مخفض.
تم تطعيم 138 من أعضاء هيئة التدريس والطلاب بحلول نهاية اليوم الثاني.
