Successful Completion of the Free Introductory Organic Chemistry Workshop at MIU

The Community Service Committee at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Misr International University (MIU), successfully organized a free introductory Organic Chemistry Workshop on July 23rd and 24th. This workshop was designed for American Diploma students interested in pursuing a career in pharmacy, either at MIU or other universities.

A total of 30 pharmacy applicants participated in the workshop, which provided a solid foundation in Organic Chemistry, an essential subject for success in pharmacy programs. The attendees from both MIU and other institutions benefited from the expert guidance of Pharmacy Faculty members and had the opportunity to network with their peers.

The sessions covered various pharmacy career pathways, giving students a comprehensive overview of their future possibilities in the field. They also visited the Organic Chemistry Lab to gain hands-on experience with the Discovery Studio Program, learning about its role in drug synthesis.

Participants expressed their appreciation for the interactive sessions and comprehensive content, highlighting the valuable insights and practical knowledge gained.

ورشة عمل ناجحة عن مبادئ الكيمياء العضوية لطلاب الدبلوم الأمريكي الراغبين في الالتحاق بكليات الصيدلة

نظمت كلية الصيدلة بجامعة مصر الدولية ورشة عمل لطلاب الدبلوم الأمريكي الراغبين في الالتحاق بكليات الصيدلة بجامعة مصر الدولية أو غيرها من الجامعات.
شارك في الورشة 30 طالبًا وطالبة، وتناولت الجلسات أسس دراسة الكيمياء العضوية واستفاد الحاضرون من المحتوى العلمي المتميز الذي قدمه أعضاء هيئة التدريس ذوي الخبرة كما أتيحت لهم الفرصة للتواصل مع أقرانهم.
تناولت الجلسة الأولى المسارات المختلفة لمهن الصيدلة، مما أعطى الطلاب نظرة شاملة على فرص العمل المستقبلية في هذا المجال. كما زار الطلاب معامل الكيمياء العضوية وحضروا عرضًا توضيحيًا حول كيفية التعرف على المواد العضوية المختلفة. كما حصلوا على تجربة عملية باستخدام برنامج Discovery Studio وأهميته في تركيب الأدوية. أعرب المشاركون عن تقديرهم للدورات التفاعلية ومحتواها الشامل.
