Student’s Conference

The second one-day student’s Conference was held on May 8, 2017 at Misr International University (Room OOA). The conference theme was “Seniors 17 Breaking the Routine” . It aimed at covering a broad range of pharmaceutical sciences disciplines through 13 speeches & 13 posters in Herbal & natural products, Drug Discovery, Drug design, Microbiology, Pharmaceutics, first aids, pharmacology, Biochemistry, clinical pharmacy & pharmacy education.

The event was organized by 145 students from seniors 17 of faculty of pharmacy divided into two committees: academic committee and organization committee & under supervision of Dr. Khaled Meselhy, Head of Pharmacognsoy department & the support of Dr. Amed Emad, Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy. Seniors 17 have chosen to be a major part of this conference because of their passion for breaking the routine in all pharmaceutical disciplines. Seniors 2017 are committed to improving the quality of the pharmaceutical environment & health care in our country by providing their visions & fulfilling their mission– “it’s the driving force behind everything we do”.

The conference was attended by  professors from different faculties of pharmacy in Egypt (Cairo, Ain Shams & El-azhar). Two experts in the field of pharmacy profession (Dr. Samer Elrefaii president of Arab Association of pharmacist progress (AAPP) & Dr. Aref Elaabd CEO & Founder, Chairman of medical training & development CO in London) gave two opening motivational speeches. . All guests & Staff of MIU described this conference as one of the most organized and remarkable conferences in Egypt.
