Professor Bernard O’kane visit

On 21/12/2022, the Department of Architecture at MIU was honored to host the guest speaker Professor Bernard O’kane as part of Volume 05 of the architecture series of open lectures about “The Role of The Architect in Designing for Women in The Mosque”. MIU students, faculty members & teaching assistants attended the session.

Bernard O’kane is a professor of Islamic Art and Architecture at the American University in Cairo, where he has been teaching since 1980. He has also been a visiting professor at Harvard University and the University of California at Berkely in USA.
