Pharmacy Student Participation in the LCOY

Alfred Ashraf, 4^th year Pharmacy student, has been selected as a volunteer in the Local Conferences of Youth (LCOY) Egypt, which is overseen by Acts Sustainable.

LCOY is an event organized by YOUNGO, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change’s official youth constituency (UNFCCC). Its goals are to provide a space for local youth climate action and to provide input into international conferences. It is a national version of the international Conference of Youth (COY), which takes place before the annual United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP).

Alfred was also nominated to attend the COY17 that will be hosted in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, on the sidelines of the 27th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP27).
