Oral Health Awareness Campaign at the MIU Dental Clinic Complex

The Community Service and Environmental Affairs Committee at the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine organized an oral health awareness session for patients in the waiting area of the MIU Dental Clinic Complex on Thursday, August 7, 2025.

The session was presented by 10 dental interns under the supervision of faculty staff members, in collaboration with the World Dental Federation (FDI). The goal was to raise awareness about oral and dental health among patients.

During the session, the interns educated patients on proper oral hygiene practices and distributed 85 toothbrushes and tubes of toothpaste to both male and female patients.

تنظيم حملة توعية للمرضى باستراحة مجمع العيادات بكلية طب الفم و الاسنان

تم عمل نشاط توعية للمرضى باستراحة انتظار المرضى بمجمع العيادات داخل الجامعة من خلال ادارة خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة بكلية طب الفم والاسنان بالاشتراك مع الإتحاد الدولي الفدرالي لطب الأسنان (FDI) حيث تم تنظيم حملة توعوية بصحة الفم والأسنان بواسطة عشرة طبيبات وأطباء الامتياز تحت إشراف السادة أعضاء هيئة التدريس ومعاونيهم في يوم الخميس الموافق 07 اغسطس 2025.

قام اطباء الامتياز بعمل شرح توضيحي حول ماهية امراض الفم والاسنان وكيفية العناية بنظافة الفم والاسنان، كما تم توزيع 85 فرشاة ومعجون اسنان على جميع المرضى الحاضرين من الإناث والذكور.
