MIU students participated in the 10th All Africa University Games 2022, Nairobi, Kenya from 6-10 June

MIU is always keen to ensure that students balance between academics and extracurricular activities. Sports are among the activities that are highly promoted.
Forty-four MIU students competed with more than 4000 athletes in different sports in the 10th All Africa University Games 2022, Nairobi, Kenya from 6-10 June. They achieved marvelous results and returned with the following medals:
Volleyball (men) – gold medal (coach Mahmoud Gomaa) Volleyball (women) – gold medal (Coach Amir Saleh) Basketball (women) – silver medal (Coach Aliaa Gamal) Swimming (men) – 3 gold medals Karate (women)- gold medal Athletics (women) – silver medal Tennis (women)-bronze medal Badminton (men)- bronze medal
The 10th edition of the Games was held under the support of the International University Sports Federation – FISU. The games are organized every two years by the All Africa University Games (FASU Games).
