MIU Students Celebrate International Day of Persons with Special Needs

The Community Service and Environment Development Committee at the Faculty of Al-Alsun & Mass Communication at Misr International University recently organized a sports day for the orphans of Al-Sondos Association to commemorate the International Day of Persons with Special Needs.

The event was held on December 9, 2024, and aimed to promote social inclusion and well-being. Fifteen orphans, accompanied by their supervisors, participated in various sports activities, including football and running races, alongside MIU students. The day concluded with a heartwarming gift distribution ceremony, bringing smiles to the faces of the young participants.

By organizing this event, the faculty contributed to UN Sustainable Development Goal 10 by promoting reduced inequalities.

نظمت لجنة خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة بكلية الألسن والإعلام بجامعة مصر الدولية يومًا رياضيًا لأيتام جمعية السندس احتفالًا باليوم العالمي لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة.
أقيم هذا الحدث في 9 ديسمبر 2024 وكان يهدف إلى تعزيز الاندماج الاجتماعي. وشارك خمسة عشر يتيمًا برفقة المشرفين عليهم في أنشطة رياضية مختلفة شملت كرة القدم وسباقات الركض واختتم اليوم بحفل توزيع الهدايا الذي رسم البسمة على وجوه المشاركين.
من خلال تنظيم هذا الحدث ساهمت الكلية في تحقيق الهدف 10 من أهداف التنمية المستدامة للأمم المتحدة الخاص بتعزيز الحد من عدم المساواة.
