MIU Faculty of Pharmacy Successfully Completes ACPE Verification Visit

Misr International University (MIU) Faculty of Pharmacy proudly welcomed the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) evaluation team on September 24, 2026, marking ACPE’s first evaluation visit to a Faculty of Pharmacy in Egypt.

The visit was conducted as part of the ongoing international accreditation process for the Faculty’s PharmD and PharmD–Clinical Pharmacy programs, reflecting MIU’s continued commitment to quality assurance and excellence in pharmacy education.

The Faculty was honored to welcome Dr. Dawn Zarembski, PharmD, Associate Director, Accreditation and Interim Director, International Services Program, and Dr. Mary Kiersma, PharmD, PhD, Associate Director of Professional Degree Program Accreditation.

Throughout the visit, the evaluation team met with University and Faculty leadership, academic and administrative staff, and students, and toured the Faculty’s educational and research facilities. Discussions addressed key areas of pharmacy education, including governance, curriculum and assessment, experiential education, student services, faculty matters, student experiences, and learning facilities.

The visit concluded with an exit report presented to Faculty leadership and senior University representatives.
