MIU Faculty of Al-Alsun and Mass Communication, and Education First Foundation Sign a Protocol to Train and Hire Students at International Schools

The Faculty of Al-Alsun and Mass Communication, MIU, signed a Protocol of Cooperation with Education First Foundation on Sunday 11th of March 2018. Education First Foundation is a community service initiative which aims to enhance the quality of education in Egyptian schools. This Protocol has been launched to offer MIU Al-Alsun and Mass Communication students an opportunity to develop their skills and to train them on teaching at international schools, under the supervision of experienced teachers. New Generation Chairperson Dr. Salma El Bakry and New Generation Director Dr. Mahmoud Hamza held an introductory session, at MIU, to present the objectives of the initiative and the expected outcome of the training. Sharing the same goal of developing the quality of education in Egypt, a sustainable development goal of paramount value, MIU joined the “100 Graduates” project sponsored by Education First, under the academic supervision of the Department of Educational Leadership and Research Methodology, at Florida Atlantic University. Upon the successful implementation of this Protocol, 2 of Al-Alsun and Mass Communication 2018 graduates were selected to join the “100 Graduates” training program and have been eventually hired to teach at New Generation International Schools.
