Misr International University’s Faculty of Computer Science Joins the Ebhar Misr Scholarship for Talented Egyptian Students

The Faculty of Computer Science, Misr International University is took part in the Ebhar Misr scholarship program, which is offered to talented students in Egyptian public schools. The scholarship includes a two-week summer camp to teach modern technologies, where Professor Alaa Hamdy taught embedded systems, while Dr. Ahmed Mansour taught artificial intelligence.

This participation reflects the university’s commitment to the development of technological skills for talented students and enhancing their capabilities in modern scientific fields.

This scholarship is sponsored by Crédit Agricole Egypt for Development and the Education First Foundation, and supervised by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Social Solidarity. The scholarship aims to discover talented students in the fields of science, technology, and arts across Egypt, targeting students aged 14 to 18. This initiative comes in recognition of the important role of civil society and the private sector in nurturing and motivating talented students.

شاركت كلية المعلومات والحاسبات بجامعة مصر الدولية في منحة إبهار مصر و هي منحة مقدمة للطلاب الموهوبين بالمدارس الحكومية المصرية. تضم المنحة معسكر صيفي لمدة أسبوعين لتعليم التقنيات الحديثة، حيث قام الأستاذ الدكتور علاء حمدي بتدريس نظم التحكم المدمجة، بينما قام الدكتور أحمد منصور بتدريس الذكاء الاصطناعي. تعكس هذه المشاركة التزام الجامعة بالمساهمة في تنمية المهارات التكنولوجية للطلاب الموهوبين وتعزيز قدراتهم في المجالات العلمية الحديثة.

تُقدم هذه المنحة للطلاب الموهوبين في المدارس الحكومية المصرية برعاية مؤسسة بنك كريدي أجريكول مصر للتنمية ومؤسسة التعليم أولاً، وبإشراف وزارة التربية والتعليم ووزارة التضامن الاجتماعي. تهدف المنحة إلى اكتشاف الطلاب الموهوبين في مجالات العلوم والتكنولوجيا والفنون على مستوى مصر من سن 14 إلى 18 سنة، لتشمل جميع طلاب مصر. تأتي هذه المبادرة إيمانًا بأهمية دور المجتمع المدني والقطاع الخاص في تنمية وتحفيز الطلاب الموهوبين.
