International Software Engineering Expert Speaks at Faculty of Computer Science Expo

As part of the Graduation Projects Expo, the Faculty of Computer Science hosted a special expert session on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, featuring Charles Humble, Freelance IT Consultant at Connaissance Limited (UK).

In his talk, titled “Beyond the Code, Across the Globe: International Expertise for a Sustainable Tech Career Through Communication, Systems Thinking, and Human Connection,” Mr. Humble offered global insights into building a sustainable and impactful career in technology. He highlighted the critical role of communication, cultural awareness, and systems thinking- skills that complement technical expertise and are essential in today’s interconnected world.

The session was both insightful and engaging, encouraging students to broaden their perspective beyond coding and consider the human and systemic aspects of global software careers.

في إطار فعاليات معرض مشروعات التخرج، استضافت كلية المعلومات والحاسبات يوم الأربعاء 25 يونيو 2025 جلسة مميزة مع تشارلز هامبل، مستشار تكنولوجيا المعلومات الحر في شركة Connaissance Limited – إنجلترا، المملكة المتحدة.

قدم السيد هامبل محاضرة بعنوان:”ما بعد الكود، عبر العالم: خبرات دولية من أجل مسيرة تقنية مستدامة من خلال التواصل، والتفكير المنظومي، والاتصال الإنساني.”تناولت الجلسة رؤى عالمية حول كيفية بناء مسيرة مهنية طويلة الأمد في مجال التكنولوجيا، مشدداً على أهمية المزج بين المهارات التقنية والقدرة على التواصل، وفهم الأنظمة، والوعي الثقافي للنجاح في عالم التقنية المتصل عالمياً.

كانت الجلسة تفاعلية وملهمة، حيث حفزت الطلاب على التفكير خارج حدود الكود واكتشاف الأبعاد الأوسع للمسارات المهنية في البرمجيات على المستوى العالمي.
