MIU is pleased to announce that four of our medical sector students, two from the Faculty of Pharmacy and two from the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, have been selected to participate in the “International Interprofessional Case Competition (I2C2)”, organised by Virginia Commonwealth University.
Interprofessional education (IPE) is a fundamental pedagogical approach that encourages teamwork and collaboration among healthcare students to provide patient care. Teams from diverse professions and prestigious universities from around the world are participating in the competition to provide the best treatment plan for a clinical case.
Misr International University is eager to provide early IPE training and experience to pharmacy professionals; thus enhancing its graduates’ leadership, collaboration, and communication competencies as members of healthcare teams, and promoting public health and wellbeing at the national and regional levels.
