Interactive Career Counseling Session for Faculty of Pharmacy Students with Dr. Naser Alsharif

On Monday November 25, 2024, the Career Counseling Committee at the Faculty of Pharmacy hosted a session titled “Intraprofessional and Interprofessional Sensitivity: A Winning Combination for Collaborative Care” conducted by Dr. Naser Alsharif, Dean of the School of Pharmacy at the Lebanese American University.

Dr. Naser addressed key aspects of teamwork among pharmacists and highlighted the communication challenges faced by interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses and pharmacists. He emphasized how fostering mutual understanding and respect is essential for improving patient care.

The session generated rich discussions and offered students valuable insights into effective collaboration in healthcare.
