To cope with the fast pace of the competitive telecom job market, the ECE Department works hard on several fronts to link its students to the local as well as international industry. This is to provide them with all possible knowledge and tools to pursue successful careers. To achieve this, the ECE department connects with several telecommunication equipment manufacturers and service providers. Among those is the giant Chinese organization “Huawei”.

Huawei established the Huawei ICT Academy-Egypt that provides several certificates, including ones for instructors and others for students.

At all levels, there is a competition that could give opportunities for top performing people to receive training in China in a state-of-the-art environment. Connections and similar programs with the telecommunication industry enriches the ECE program and provides the students with the diverse skills and qualifications needed to excel in such a competitive field.
