Graduation Projects Expo Day (Software Engineering Major)

The Faculty of Computer Science held its annual Graduation Projects Expo Day for the Software Engineering Major on Wednesday, June 25th, 2025. Senior students presented a variety of innovative software engineering projects, reflecting their skills and dedication. Guests from the software industry and parents were invited to engage with the students and explore their work. The event provided valuable feedback on the technical level of the students and served as a direct link between academia and the software job market.

A keynote speech was delivered by Eng. Wafik Atef, Head of Center of Engineering at Network International, where he shared insights on the evolving landscape of software engineering and encouraged students to align their skills with global industry trends.

More than 40 companies attended the event, providing students with meaningful networking opportunities and exposure to industry expectations.

Students displayed their graduation projects at dedicated booths. Company representatives toured the booths, engaged in one-on-one discussions with students, and evaluated their work.

A “Best Project” competition was also held, and the judging panel—formed by representatives from the attending companies selected the winning project based on creativity, technical excellence, and real-world applicability.

أقامت كلية المعلومات والحاسبات يوم الأربعاء 25 يونيو 2025 معرض مشروعات التخرج الخاص بتخصص هندسة البرمجيات. قدم طلاب السنة النهائية مجموعة متنوعة من المشروعات المبتكرة التي تعكس مهاراتهم وجهودهم خلال سنوات الدراسة. وقد تمت دعوة أولياء الأمور وعدد من ممثلي صناعة البرمجيات للتفاعل مع الطلاب واستكشاف أعمالهم. أتاح المعرض الفرصة لتقييم المستوى الفني للطلاب، كما عزز التواصل بين التعليم الأكاديمي وسوق العمل.

وقد ألقى المهندس وفيق عاطف، رئيس مركز الهندسة في شركة نتورك إنترناشيونال، كلمة خلال الفعالية شارك فيها رؤى حول تطور مجال هندسة البرمجيات، وحثّ الطلاب على مواكبة متطلبات السوق العالمية.

شارك في المعرض أكثر من 40 شركة، مما منح الطلاب فرصًا حقيقية للتواصل والتعرف على متطلبات سوق العمل. كما أجرت بعض الشركات مقابلات توظيف مع الخريجين خلال فعاليات المعرض، وقدمت لهم فرصًا مهنية واعدة.

عرض الطلاب مشاريع تخرجهم من خلال أماكن مخصصة، حيث قام ممثلو الشركات بجولة تفقدية على هذه الأماكن وتفاعلوا مع الطلاب لتقييم أعمالهم عن قرب.

كما أُقيمت مسابقة لأفضل مشروع تخرج، قامت بتحكيمها لجنة من ممثلي الشركات المشاركة، واختاروا المشروع الفائز بناءً على الإبداع، والتميز الفني، وقابلية التطبيق الواقعي.
