Fourth Year Dentistry Students Visit Dental Research Institute

Under the scientific cooperation agreement between MIU Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine and the Dental Research Institute at the National Research Center, a field training trip was organized for 66 fourth-year students (both female and male) from groups 3 and 4 on Sunday, December 17, 2023. The trip was organized by the Community Service and Environmental Affairs Committee at the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine.

During the visit, students learned about the research laboratories and how to use them in research activities in the field of dentistry. Professors from the Center provided an explanation of various laboratories and responded to the students’ inquiries.

The trip was organized and supervised by the Vice Dean of Education and Students’ Affairs, Vice Dean of Community Service and Environmental Affairs, along with faculty members and members of the Community Service and Environmental Affairs Committee.

The faculty delegation was welcomed by Professor Mohammad Al-Zawahri, the coordinator of the agreement and organizer of the visit, Dr. Amira Galal, Assistant Research Professor of Endodontics at the National Research Center and Misr International University, and Mr. Mukhtar Abdel Aziz Salam, Head of the Central Administration Office at the National Research Centre.

Thanks are extended to all the professors and staff at the Center for their dedicated efforts and generous hospitality, which significantly influenced the students, enhancing their experience in both scientific knowledge and community engagement.
