Faculty of Pharmacy Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Utopia Pharmaceutical Factory

The Faculty of Pharmacy at MIU has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Utopia Pharmaceutical Factory on Monday, June 23, 2025. Established to meet European standards, Utopia Pharmaceutical Factory is committed to supplying high-quality pharmaceutical products to the local market with international excellence. The MoU, signed by Prof. Dr. Samy Emara, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Dr. Noha Abdel Shakor, Business Development Director, aims to strengthen academic collaboration, enhance training and experiential learning opportunities, and facilitate the exchange of knowledge between both parties.

This collaboration is set to provide invaluable support for students, notably through summer training programs. To mark the occasion, students had the opportunity to tour the factory on the same day, gaining practical insights into manufacturing, product analysis, and final release procedures from department heads.

وقعت كلية الصيدلة بجامعة مصر الدولية مذكرة تفاهم مع مصنع يوتوبيا للأدوية يوم الاثنين 23 يونيو 2025. تأسس مصنع يوتوبيا وفقًا للمواصفات الأوروبية ويحرص على توفير منتجات دوائية عالية الجودة للسوق المحلية بمعايير دولية. وتهدف مذكرة التفاهم التي وقعها الأستاذ الدكتور سامي عمارة عميد كلية الصيدلة والدكتورة نهى عبد الشكور مدير تطوير الأعمال إلى تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي وتوسيع فرص التدريب والتجارب العملية وتبادل المعرفة بين الطرفين.
توفر هذه الشراكة دعمًا قيمًا للطلاب خاصةً من خلال برامج التدريب الصيفي. وفي نفس اليوم قام الطلاب بجولة داخل المصنع حيث زاروا الأقسام المختلفة مما أتاح لهم فرصة الاطلاع على مراحل التصنيع وتحليل الجودة وعمليات الإصدار النهائية.
