Faculty of Pharmacy Participates in Egypt’s First AACME-Accredited Pharmacy Conference

The Faculty of Pharmacy and Plan P Academy successfully collaborated to host the “Pharmacy: The Next Era 2025” conference on September 25, 2025.

This is the first pharmacy conference in Egypt accredited by both the Egyptian Health Council (20 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points) and the U.S.-based American Association for Continuing Medical Education (AACME).

Experts and educators explored the future development of the pharmacy profession in various fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare, cosmeceuticals, clinical pharmacy, and the pharmaceutical industry.

The Faculty Dean, specialists, and 18 6^th year students attended, gaining critical exposure to scientific discussions and learning about the essential new CPD points system required for future licensure. The event was a major opportunity to connect students with the innovative, patient-centered future of the profession.

في يوم الخميس الموافق 25 سبتمبر 2025 شاركت كلية الصيدلة بجامعة مصر الدولية بالتعاون مع أكاديمية بلان بي (Plan P Academy) في تنظيم النسخة الأولى من مؤتمر“Pharmacy: The Next Era 2025 وهو أول مؤتمر من نوعه في مصر يحصل على اعتماد مزدوج من:
✅ المجلس الصحي المصري (20 نقطة CPD)
✅ الهيئة الأمريكية للاعتماد في التعليم الطبي المستمر (AACME) 🌟
جمع المؤتمر نخبة من الخبراء وأعضاء هيئة التدريس والمتخصصين في مجال الرعاية الصحية لمناقشة التطور المستقبلي لمهنة الصيدلة في مجالات متنوعة مثل الذكاء الاصطناعي في الرعاية الصحية والمستحضرات التجميلية العلاجية والصيدلة الإكلينيكية والصناعة الدوائية.
حضر المؤتمر عميد كلية الصيدلة وعدد من المتخصصين والمعيدين بالإضافة إلى 18 طالبًا من طلاب السنة السادسة الذين شاركوا في ورش العمل والجلسات العلمية وتعرّفوا على نظام نقاط التعليم الطبي المستمر CPD وأهميته في الترخيص المهني المستقبلي.
