Faculty of Computer Science, Misr International University, is pleased to announce that a webinar entitled “Designing Computer Vision Algorithms to Describe the Visual World to People Who Are Blind or Low Vision” was held on Thursday, March 26th, 2020 for MIU Computer Science junior students. The webinar was presented by Dr. Ed Cutrell (Senior Principal Researcher at Microsoft Research) and Dr. Danna Gurari (Assistant Professor & Director of the Image and Video Computing Group, School of Information, University of Texas,Austin)
In the webinar, Dr. Danna Gurari and Dr. Ed Cutrell introduced to the attendees how computer vision researchers create vision systems to adapt to the needs of the market and create new dataset challenges to empower the artificial intelligence community to work on real-use cases.
