Faculty of Computer Science – Technical Documentation Workshop

The Graduation Projects Committee of the Faculty of Computer Science hosted a Technical Documentation Workshop on January 26, 2025, designed for students working on their graduation projects.

The session was led by Dr. Nisreen Elsaber and Eng. Nada Ayman Shorim, members of the Software Engineering Department. They provided in-depth guidance on the essential elements of technical documentation, including the expectations, standards, and resources necessary to ensure the success of each project.

A key focus of the workshop was the significance of technical documentation in graduation projects. Students were introduced to the Software Requirements Specification (SRS) and Software Design Document (SDD), both critical components that outline the project’s requirements and design architecture.

نظمت لجنة مشروعات التخرج بكلية المعلومات والحاسبات ورشة عمل حول كتابة الوثائق التقنية يوم 26 يناير 2025، واستهدفت هذه الورشة الطلاب المشاركين في مشروعات تخرجهم.

أدار الجلسة كل من الدكتورة نسرين الصابر والمهندسة ندى أيمن شريم، وهما من أعضاء قسم هندسة البرمجيات. وقد قدّموا إرشادات مفصلة حول العناصر الأساسية لكتابة الوثائق التقنية بما في ذلك التوقعات والمعايير والموارد اللازمة لضمان نجاح كل مشروع.

ركزت الورشة بشكل رئيسي على أهمية الوثائق التقنية في مشروعات التخرج. وتعرف الطلاب على مواصفات متطلبات البرمجيات (SRS) ووثيقة تصميم البرمجيات (SDD)، وهما عنصران أساسيان يحددان متطلبات المشروع وهيكلية التصميم.
