Faculty of Computer Science Participates in the International Teaching Week in India (ITW2024)

Associate Professor Walaa Hassan, representing Misr International University’s (MIU) Faculty of Computer Science, participated in the International Teaching Week (ITW2024) program held from March 18 to 24, 2024.

Hosted by the Department of Statistics and Data Science at Christ University in Bangalore, India, ITW2024 facilitated knowledge exchange between international universities through intensive, 30-hour micro-credential courses.  This year’s program emphasized interactive learning, incorporating a blend of lectures, workshops, and discussions.

Dr. Hassan conducted a six-day micro-credential course titled “Data Science Bootcamp and Machine Learning Techniques,” tailored for master’s and doctoral students. This intensive program explored the entire data science life cycle, delved into various machine learning taxonomies, and highlighted practical applications with real-world examples.

شاركت كلية المعلومات والحاسبات في برنامج الأسبوع الدولي للتعليم (ITW 2024) بحضور أ.م.د. ولاء حسن كممثل أكاديمي عن الكلية. يهدف هذا البرنامج الذي استضافه قسم الإحصاء وعلوم البيانات في جامعة كريست في بنغالور في الهند إلى تبادل المعرفة بين الجامعات الدولية من خلال دورة تعليمية مصغرة تستمر 30 ساعة.

ركز برنامج الأسبوع الدولي للتعليم على التعلم التفاعلي والمحاضرات وورش العمل والمناقشات. قامت أ.م.د. ولاء حسن بإلقاء دورة تعليمية مصغرة مدتها ستة أيام بعنوان “Data Science Bootcamp and Machine Learning Techniques” مصممة خصيصًا لطلاب الماجستير والدكتوراه. شمل هذا البرنامج المكثف الدورة الكاملة لحياة علوم البيانات وتناول تصنيفات التعلم الآلي المختلفة وأبرز التطبيقات العملية مع أمثلة واقعية
