Misr International University is always aware of its responsibility towards the society and pursues several social activities. In this context, MIU has decided to support the marriage of five orphan girls after carefully studying their case files. MIU covered all the expenses needed, as well as the wedding ceremony that was held at “Dar Al-Harb Al-Electroneya”, on the 28^th of April 2016. MIU with the participation of one of its clubs, “ASCC for help”, called for donations from all MIU faculty members and students.

Moreover, a campaign to raise donations for “debtors’ redemption” was launched during Fall 2015 as a part of providing direct support to the underprivileged, including debtors. It is worth mentioning that this is the second campaign for this purpose. The previous campaign was conducted in collaboration with “Misr El-Kheir” Foundation. The donations were used to release twelve debtors from prison and to provide jobs opportunities at Misr El-Kheir factory. Participants were trained on making handmade carpets.
