Collaborative Interprofessional Education at MIU: Spring 2023

MIU is pleased to announce the successful implementation of Interprofessional Education (IPE) for third-level medical students during the spring of 2023. This collaborative initiative, conducted under the supervision of the pharmacology department in both Pharmacy and Dentistry faculties, aimed to enhance collaboration and shared learning experiences. Students from both sectors were organized into interdisciplinary teams, solving diverse medical cases and applying theoretical knowledge to practical, patient-centered scenarios. The culmination of this approach was evident in oral presentations, emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary cooperation in healthcare.

يسر جامعة مصر الدولية أن تعلن عن التنفيذ الناجح للتعليم المهني المتداخل (IPE) لطلاب القطاع الطبي من المستوى الثالث خلال ربيع عام 2023. وتهدف هذه المبادرة التعاونية، التي أجريت تحت إشراف قسم الأدوية و السموم في كليتي الصيدلة وطب الفم والأسنان، إلى تعزيز التعاون و خبرات التعلم المشتركة. تم تنظيم الطلاب من كلا القطاعين الطبيين في فرق متعددة التخصصات، حيث شاركوا في حل مجموعة متنوعة من الحالات الطبية، وتطبيق المعرفة النظرية في سياقات عملية ومركزة على المريض. وكان ذلك واضحًا في العروض الشفهية التي تمثلت في ختام هذا النهج، مؤكدة على أهمية التعاون التخصصي في مجال الرعاية الصحية
