Celebrating Innovation: Highlights from the 18th Annual Scientific Day

The 18th Annual Scientific Day, organized by the Internship Administration, was held September 30th, 2024, at the Main Building’s OOA Hall. The event showcased the outstanding work of interns during their training program as well as promoted collaboration and innovation within the academic community.

Key figures such as the Dean, the Vice Dean of Community and Environmental Affairs, and the Heads of Departments, along with faculty members from the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine attended the event. The whole batch of 319 were also present.

The event started with a motivational message from the Dean of the faculty, followed by an appreciation speech from the Vice Dean of Community and Environmental Affairs to the dedicated efforts of the Heads of Departments, scientific coordinators, community service coordinators, and university administrative management.

Mohamed Moula, one of Misr International University’s 2020 interns, gave a speech conveying to the interns of how pleased he is to get back to continue his internship year after giving up on dentistry 4 years ago.

The internship co-director highlighted the dedication and collaborative efforts of both the staff and the interns across the fall, winter, spring, and summer batches. The staff’s recognition included appreciation of the tutors’ dedication throughout the program, by offering their mentorship and support to the interns. One of the interns’ achievements recognized was the participation of two of our talented interns, Veronica Medhat (intern year 2022) and Hana Wael (intern year 2023) in the prestigious Interdisciplinary Interprofessional Case Competition.

Several sessions, focused on market and scientific research were organized. A pediatric dentistry cases session offered insights into current practices and a live surgery session provided a rare opportunity for attendees to observe real-time procedures.

At the end of the scientific day, a survey to assess attendee’s feedback was conducted. The survey revealed an impressive 100% satisfaction rate.

The event was a true celebration of learning and achievement, fostering a spirit of innovation among participants.

احتفالاً بالابتكار: أبرز الأحداث من اليوم العلمي الثامن عشر

تم تنظيم اليوم العلمي الثامن عشر بواسطة إدارة التدريب يوم 30 سبتمبر 2024، في قاعة بالمبنى الرئيسي للجامعة. عرض الحدث العمل المتميز لاطباء الامتياز خلال برنامج تدريبهم، كما عزز التعاون والابتكار داخل المجتمع الأكاديمي.

شهد الحدث حضور شخصيات بارزة مثل العميد، ونائب العميد لشؤون المجتمع والبيئة، ورؤساء الأقسام، إلى جانب أعضاء هيئة التدريس من كلية طب الأسنان. حضر الفعالية المجموعة كاملة من 319 طبيب امتياز.

بدأ الحدث برسالة تحفيزية من عميد الكلية، تلتها كلمة تقدير من نائب العميد لشؤون المجتمع والبيئة، لشكر الجهود لرؤساء الأقسام، ومنسقي العلوم، ومنسقي خدمة المجتمع، وإدارة الجامعة.

لاحقًا، ألقى أحد متدربي جامعة مصر الدولية لعام 2020، محمد مولا، كلمة عبّر فيها عن سعادته بالعودة لمتابعة سنة الامتياز بعد أن تخلى عن دراسة طب الأسنان قبل 4 سنوات.

بعد ذلك، سلط المدير المشارك للتدريب الضوء على تفاني وجهود التعاون لكل من الطاقم والمتدربين عبر دفعات الخريف والشتاء والربيع والصيف. شمل تقدير الطاقم الإشادة بتفاني المعلمين طوال البرنامج، من خلال تقديم الإرشاد والدعم للمتدربين. ومن بين إنجازات المتدربين التي تم الاعتراف بها كانت مشاركة اثنين من متدربينا الموهوبين، فيرونيكا مدحت (سنة تدريب 2022) وهنا وائل (سنة تدريب 2023) في مسابقة الحالات متعددة التخصصات.

أخيرًا، تم تنظيم جلسات تركزت على السوق والبحث العلمي، كما قدمت جلسة طب أسنان الأطفال رؤى حول الممارسات الحالية، بينما قدمت جلسة الجراحة الحية فرصة نادرة للحضور لمشاهدة إجراحات حقيقية تم تصويرها.

في نهاية اليوم العلمي، قمنا بإجراء استطلاع لتقييم آراء الحضور، والذي كشف عن معدل رضا مذهل بلغ %100

كانت الفعالية احتفالاً حقيقيًا بالتعلم والإنجاز، مما عزز روح الابتكار بين المشاركين.
