The Faculty of Business Administration Conducts a Tax Simulation in Collaboration with PWC

Students at the Faculty of Business Administration, with a major in accounting, were recently engaged in a tax simulation conducted by the well-known financial services firm PwC (Price Waterhouse Coopers ). The event, held on December 9th, was organized in collaboration with the faculty and supervised by Dr. Zakaa Khalifa.

During the simulation, students explored the intricacies of Corporate Income Tax, Local and offshore Withholding Taxes (WHT), and Payroll taxes as applicable in Egypt. The participants worked in groups to analyze and calculate these taxes, gaining practical insights into their application in real-world scenarios.

The event fostered a spirit of healthy competition among the students, with a coveted trophy awarded to the winning team.
