awareness session for patients in the waiting area of MIU Dental Clinic Complex

On the 28^th of November 2023, the Community Service and Environmental Affairs Committee at the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine collaborated with the World Dental Federation (FDI) to conduct an awareness session for patients in the waiting area of MIU Dental Clinic Complex. Nineteen dental interns led the session, overseen by faculty members and members of the Community Service and Environmental Affairs Committee. The primary objective of the session was to promote awareness of oral and dental health among patients.

During the session, the dental interns demonstrated proper oral and dental hygiene practices to the patients. Toothbrushes and toothpaste were distributed to all patients (males and females).
