MIU Faculty of Pharmacy Shines at the 8th Annual Arab International Pharmacy Conference

The MIU Faculty of Pharmacy showcased its excellence at the 8th Annual Arab International Pharmacy Conference, held in collaboration with the Arab Association for Pharmacy Progress at the “Grand Nile Tower” in Cairo from April 20th to 21st, 2024. Under the theme “Optimizing and Sustaining Interprofessional Healthcare Collaboration,” the conference aimed to enhance collaboration and technological advancements in the field.

Our faculty members actively participated in various panel discussions throughout the event. Distinguished MIU pharmacy professors shared their expertise in a panel titled “Transformative Integration of Technology in Programmatic Assessment for Enhancing Pharmacy Education at Misr International University,” moderated by Dr. Mona Shaalan. Panelists included Dr. Hekmat Almagdoub, Dr. Hany Mahmoud, Dr. Rania Kamel, Dr. Sahar Abdel Raouf, and Dr. Manal Abouelkheir. This session underscored the pivotal role of technology in modernizing pharmacy education and its significance in current educational models.

Furthermore, Dr. Lobna Hatem engaged in an expert panel discussion on “Interprofessional Education,” where she elaborated on MIU’s approach. Dr. Hatem emphasized the efficacy of interprofessional education in enhancing collaboration and teamwork among pharmacists and other healthcare professionals and elevating patient care standards.

MIU students also made significant contributions to the conference’s success. They presented innovative research ideas during the poster session, demonstrating dedication and proficiency in advancing patient care practices.

The conference provided a valuable platform for networking with speakers renowned for their contributions to collaborative education and healthcare practice. Through exceptional faculty expertise, MIU reaffirmed its commitment to pharmaceutical research and the development of future pharmacists in Egypt.

جامعة مصر الدولية تشارك في المؤتمر العربي الدولي الثامن للصيدلة

عقدت كلية الصيدلة بجامعة مصر الدولية شراكة مع الجمعية العربية لتطوير الصيادلة في المؤتمر العربي الدولي السنوي الثامن للصيدلة الذي عُقد في القاهرة في “Grand Nile Tower” في الفترة من 20 إلى 21 أبريل 2024. وكان موضوع المؤتمر هو تحسين واستدامة التعاون المهني في مجال الرعاية الصحية.

شارك أعضاء هيئة التدريس من جامعة مصر الدولية بنشاط في المؤتمر. خلال حلقة نقاش حول “التعليم المهني المتداخل” عرضت الدكتورة لبنى حاتم من بين مجموعة من الخبراء البارزين في هذا المجال خبرتها في هذا النهج الذي يُعتقد أنه يعزز التفاعلات والعمل الجماعي بين الصيادلة وغيرهم من المتخصصين في الرعاية الصحية من أجل العمل على تحسين الرعاية الصحية للمريض.

وضمت حلقة نقاش أخرى نخبة من أساتذة الصيدلة في جامعة مصر الدولية الذين شاركوا أفكارهم حول “التكامل التحويلي للتكنولوجيا في التقييم البرنامجي لتعزيز تعليم الصيدلة في جامعة مصر الدولية”. وكانت الدكتورة منى شعلان هي مديرة حلقة النقاش الغنية بالمعلومات. وضمت قائمة المتحدثين الدكتورة حكمت المجدوب والدكتور هاني محمود والدكتورة رانيا كامل والدكتورة سحر عبد الرؤوف والدكتورة منال أبو الخير. وشددت الجلسة على الدور الحاسم الذي تلعبه التكنولوجيا في تحديث تعليم الصيدلة في الوقت الحاضر.

بالإضافة إلى ذلك قدم طلابنا مساهمات كبيرة في نجاح المؤتمر من خلال عرض تفانيهم وكفاءتهم خلال جلسة الملصقات الخاصة بالمؤتمر حيث قدموا أفكارًا بحثية رائعة وطموحة للمساعدة في تحسين رعاية المرضى بشكل عام.

كان هذا الحدث فرصة عظيمة للقاء متحدثين متميزين من ذوي الخبرة في تعزيز وتطوير التعليم والممارسة التعاونية في مجال الرعاية الصحية وعرض المؤهلات الممتازة لأعضاء هيئة التدريس في جامعة مصر الدولية مع التأكيد على تفاني الجامعة في تعزيز البحوث الصيدلانية وتعليم صيادلة المستقبل في مصر.
