Scientific Seminar on the Future of Precision Esthetics

As part of its commitment to developing the professional and personal skills of its academic support staff, the Faculty’s Administration for Developing the Skills of Faculty Members and Academic Support Staff organized a scientific seminar entitled “A Sneak Peek into the Future of Precision Esthetics” on Sunday, September 13, 2026.

The seminar was delivered by Dr. Ahmed El-Sergany, Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, and a graduate of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine at Misr International University. A total of 32 faculty members and academic support staff attended the seminar, along with the Faculty’s Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development and members of the Faculty Members’ Capacity Development Committee.

The seminar aimed to explore emerging developments in dental esthetics, with a particular focus on the role of digital technologies and artificial intelligence. It also sought to familiarize participants with the latest methods and techniques that can advance academic and clinical practice and improve the quality of therapeutic and esthetic outcomes.

At the conclusion of the seminar, participants were invited to complete satisfaction questionnaires. The results indicated an overall satisfaction rate of 90%.

The seminar provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen communication and promote the exchange of scientific knowledge and expertise among faculty members and academic support staff. It also encouraged scientific discussion of emerging ideas and contemporary trends in esthetic dentistry, while highlighting opportunities to integrate future developments into teaching and clinical practice. These efforts support continuous professional development and contribute to enhancing institutional performance and the quality of academic and clinical services.

ندوة علمية بعنوان A sneak peak into the future of precision esthetics

في إطار حرص الكلية على تنمية المهارات المهنية والشخصية لأعضاء الهيئة المعاونة، نظّمت إدارة تنمية مهارات أعضاء هيئة التدريس والهيئة المعاونة ندوة علمية بعنوان ” A sneak peak into the future of precision esthetics “، وذلك يوم الاحد 13 سبتمبر 2026.

وقد قام الدكتور /احمد السرجاني أستاذ مساعد بجامعة بيتسبرغ في ولاية بنسلفانيا، الولايات المتحدة الامريكية بتقديم الندوة العلمية بحضور عدد 32 من أعضاء هيئة التدريس والهيئة المعاونة بالكلية والذي كان خريج جامعة مصر الدولية بكلية طب الفم والاسنان وبحضور كلا من السيد الأستاذ الدكتور وكيل الكلية لخدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة والسادة أعضاء لجنة تنمية قدرات أعضاء هيئة التدريس.

هدفت الندوة للتعريف بالتطورات المستقبلية في مجال التجميل السني مع تسليط الضوء على دور التقنيات الرقمية والذكاء الاصطناعي كما هدفت الي تعزيز المعرفة بأحدث الأساليب والتقنيات التي يمكن ان تساهم في تطوير الممارسة الاكاديمية والاكلينيكية وتحسين جودة النتائج العلاجية والتجميلية.

وفي ختام ورشة العمل تم توزيع استبيانات الرضا على المشاركين، وقد أظهرت النتائج رضاهم بنسبة 90%.

وقد أسهمت الندوة في تعزيز التواصل وتبادل الخبرات العلمية بين أعضاء هيئة التدريس والهيئة المعاونة،

وإتاحة الفرصة للبحث العلمي لمناقشة الأفكار والتوجهات الحديثة في مجال طب الاسنان التجميلي. كما شجعت على التفكير في سبل توظيف التطورات المستقبلية في العملية التعليمية والممارسة الاكلينيكية، بما يدعم التطوير المستمر ورفع كفائه الأداء
