“Is There Anything New to Talk About Direct Posterior Composites?” and “Fundamentals That Still Define Success in Anterior Composites” Workshops

As part of its commitment to enhancing the clinical knowledge and practical skills of dental interns, the Internship Administration organized two restorative dentistry workshops in collaboration with Nile Dental Company and SHOFU Dental. The workshops, entitled “Is There Anything New to Talk About Direct Posterior Composites?” and “Fundamentals That Still Define Success in Anterior Composites,” were delivered by Dr. Jose Roberto Moura on   April 30, 2026, and May 1 2026, respectively.

The workshops attracted a total of 37 dental interns, with 15 interns attending the first session and 22 participating in the second.

The program commenced with an interactive lecture held in the Seminar Room of the Internship Administration Office, during which Dr. Moura shared his expertise on contemporary concepts and evidence-based approaches to direct composite restorations. The sessions addressed key principles, clinical techniques, material selection, and factors influencing long-term restorative success in both posterior and anterior composite applications.

Following the lecture, participants attended a live clinical demonstration, during which Dr. Moura showcased practical restorative procedures and highlighted essential techniques for achieving optimal esthetic and functional outcomes. The demonstration provided interns with valuable practical learning opportunities and facilitated active discussion between the speaker and attendees.

At the conclusion of the workshops, participants were invited to complete an evaluation questionnaire to assess their overall experience and satisfaction with the event. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with the survey results demonstrating a 100% satisfaction rate. This outcome reflects the high educational value of the workshops, the relevance of the topics presented, and the effectiveness of the collaboration between the Internship Administration, Nile Dental Company, and SHOFU Dental.

Overall, the workshops were highly successful in enhancing the interns’ knowledge of modern restorative dentistry and supporting their professional development through exposure to current clinical concepts, techniques, and best practices.

في إطار التزام إدارة الامتياز بتعزيز المعرفة السريرية والمهارات العملية لأطباء الأسنان المتدربين، نظّمت الإدارة ورشتي عمل في مجال طب الأسنان الترميمي بالتعاون مع شركة (Nile Dental Company) وشركة (SHOFU Dental) وقد حملت الورشتان “Is There Anything New to Talk About Direct Posterior Composites?”” و“Fundamentals That Still Define Success in Anterior Composites,” وقدمها الدكتور خوسيه روبرتو مورا يومي 30 أبريل 2026 و1 مايو 2026.

استقطبت الورشتان ما مجموعه 37 طبيب امتياز، حيث حضر 15 متدربًا الجلسة الأولى، بينما شارك 22 متدربًا في الجلسة الثانية.

بدأ البرنامج بمحاضرة تفاعلية أُقيمت في قاعة الندوات بمكتب إدارة الامتياز، استعرض خلالها الدكتور مورا خبراته في المفاهيم الحديثة والأساليب المستندة إلى الأدلة العلمية في ترميمات الكومبوزيت المباشرة. وتناولت المحاضرات المبادئ الأساسية والتقنيات السريرية واختيار المواد والعوامل المؤثرة في تحقيق نجاح طويل الأمد لترميمات الكومبوزيت في الأسنان الخلفية والأمامية.

عقب المحاضرة، شارك الحضور في (Live Demonstration)، استعرض خلاله الدكتور مورا الإجراءات الترميمية العملية، مسلطًا الضوء على التقنيات الأساسية اللازمة لتحقيق أفضل النتائج الوظيفية والجمالية. وقد أتاح هذا العرض للمتدربين فرصة قيّمة للتعلم العملي وتعزيز التفاعل والنقاش المباشر مع المحاضر.

وفي ختام الورشتين، تم توزيع استبيان لتقييم مستوى رضا المشاركين عن البرنامج ومدى استفادتهم منه. وقد أظهرت نتائج الاستبيان مستوى رضا بلغ 100%، مما يعكس القيمة العلمية العالية للورش، وأهمية الموضوعات المطروحة، ونجاح التعاون بين إدارة الامتياز وشركة نايل دنتال وشركة شوفو في تقديم تجربة تعليمية متميزة.

وقد حققت الورشتان أهدافهما بنجاح من خلال إثراء معارف المتدربين في مجال طب الأسنان الترميمي الحديث، ودعم تطورهم المهني عبر الاطلاع على أحدث المفاهيم السريرية وأفضل الممارسات المعتمدة في هذا المجال.
